God bless you for your faith in Him & not in medical contributions. And indeed, if you not only refuse vaccines, but also refuse any visits to the doctor, dentist, or others and also the taking of any medicines, prescription or not, does show a genuine trust in God, the Healer, to minister to you.
The problem arises when objectors to this vaccine, or any vaccine, may vocalize their concerns about them & that taking them is indicative of one's lack of trust, but they have no hesitation to visiting a doctor or tending to a wound or injury. I knew a lady (in her 40s), a lovely believer of great faith. She impressed me by her faith in God to refuse all medical intervention & drugs & indeed the Lord kept her for all these years, either healing her or giving her the grace to press on in spite of any pain. She contracted major stomach ulcers & as per her faith, trusted the Lord to give her healing. The Lord chose not to this time & she went Home to be with Him. All of a sudden my own understanding was torn, seeing both an active faith & a God Who keeps & heals and yet a sudden needless loss of a life at a 'young' age. But I consoled myself that she remained resolute & true to God & she accepted the Lord's Will however it fell upon her life.
Therefore, I see that we're in a similar predicament: we want to show faith in God rather than in vaccines, but we give no second thought to any visits to the medical fraternity to deal with our ailments. And, our refusal to be vaccinated may indeed foster greater faith in us, but if we should contract the disease & then pass it on, we might fail to accept responsibility for the loss of an innocent life or even convince ourselves that we're not to blame - some even placing the blame on the victim. Yes, this is a very personal issue & decision that I don't see as one, that only demonstrates our faith in God to heal, but also vitally connected to our responsibility for the physical welfare of those around us.
those who have Jesus/Yeshua have salvation and life those doesnt need vaccines. and if they get sick Jesus healed them completely, vaccines are from the devil to deceives those who doesnt have faith enough
There is no mention of vaccines in the Bible as they are a relatively 'recent' innovation. However, there were primitive experiments conducted in the earlier part of the last millenium (i.e. 1000 AD onwards) by the Chinese. You can read more about vaccines on the Site: History of Vaccines. As you go through it, you can see the impact that vaccines have had on preventing greater worldwide diseases over the centuries, so I don't see that there is anything wrong in what is simply 'preventative medicine'.
With all the hype & rhetoric about the proposed vaccines for Covid, we can easily fall into the trap of believing that sinister inclusions are being brought in with them. I have no fear of this, but do wonder how effective the vaccines might be & whether there would be any adverse reaction to them, given that a complete & thorough testing regime hasn't been carried out.
To prevent sickness or disease, God had instructed Israel on what to eat, correct washings, dealing with the appearance of disease, waste disposal, etc. so that they might remain healthy. See Leviticus chapters 11 to 20. And most importantly, they had to be obedient to the Lord & trust Him for their care, even as we need to do so now. Many Christians remain fearful of the future & of their lives - this is not what the Lord expects of us, rather to trust Him for whatever situation we have to face or are found in, & use the wisdom He gives us to live clean lives: spiritually, physically & mentally, honouring Him in everything we do or confronts us.
Why? Why? Why? asked these 2 young men, never-the-less GOD is allowing HIS will to be done, even though these 2 young men do not know GOD is in full control. (In 2018 both the saved and unsaved are asking Why? WHY? WHY?, never-the-less GOD is in full control.

Day 79 of Bible in a Year Reading. Great history concerning this relational triangle of David, Saul and Jonathan. So much drama but David and Jonathan were loyal to each other and faithful to the Lord. Saul loses so much by his hatred and faithlessness. Like Pharaoh in Egypt; Saul is given many opportunities to repent and depend upon God to direct his paths, but he choses self instead.
Verse 42: Jonathan maintained his loyalty to David because he had loyalty to Jehovah God. Their friendship was based on their love for God and this helped them to be loyal to each other.
:-( this made me very sad,I had tears come from my eyes,yes I am sensitive,but what ever lol,such a touching relationship,I agree with A DISCIPLE, its hard to find that kind of Love now adays,I feel this way for my bestfriend,I care for her as my own flesh and blood,I hope that we all can realize we have different opinions but not one is "better" then the other,some just carry more enlightenment:)
There were many, many times throughout history, that the Saints had to be prudent in their communications to each other, because of the terror of the heathen. This was what grieved these two brothers in the Lord, and broke their hearts. I think the way many so-called Christians talk to each other, and clearly don't know the Word and Spirit of Christ, that it is very hard to find this kind of love.

Jane, true it appear to me that we are saying the same thing using different words. The bottom line seems to be that the actions was a secret means of communication that only Jonathan and his good friend David understood. Glory to God in the highest through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! Amen.
David, Genesis 14:14 says Abram armed his trained servants. Another verse that Abram said his eldest servant ruled over everything he owned. I consent to these verses that the word servant can sometimes be a protector or soldier. But, verse 1 Samuel 20:35, etc. does not say "a little lad went with him" was his protector.
David, Mirriam Webster Dict. does not define "servant" as protector. Jonathan had the bow and arrows why would he need a lad to protect him. You add to God's word. It looks like the lad was there to retrieve and take the arrows to the city.

Re: my labeling the lad as Jonathan's servant (therefore "protector") comes from v.38 "And Jonathan's lad gathered up the arrows, and came to his master". I appreciate your clarification, and keeping any comments to be Biblically-based.
David, in 1 Samuel Chapter 20; it does not say that David suggested or shot an arrow. It appears it was Jonathan's idea. It does not say that the lad was appointed to protect Jonathan. He did send him away to the city with the arrows. Some one else said,"the arrows were shot for the drama." I don't see evidence of that. can you give us scripture that proves your ideas? Thanks
Jane, Dewey, regarding why Jonathan and David used three arrows when both were already in close proximity to each other. Consider the servant lad is appointed by the King to protect Jonathan, therefore for Jonathan to inform David, he could not just tell the servant to leave him, that would have raised suspicion. Instead, the arrows were a ruse to dispatch the servant with no questions raised.
Bible Fan and Jane, I believe that this arrow shooting with the servant lad was more of a top secret means of communication between David and his good friend Jonathan. Considering the fact that they were both great military men and David's life was on the line as far as he was concerned. That mean of communication proved by God given wisdom to both men to be very successful. Glory be to God!
jonathan hugged and kissed david one last time but he could as well have told him yea or nay regarding Saul's inclinations. Makes me wonder why they went through with the whole arrow shooting thing, but it did add a little drama to the scene.
