As true Christians never be off guard Be ready every moment to resist the devil It is not everyone that Satan can gulp down Those who obey the commands in verse s 5 to 9 cannot be swallowed up by him Let the younger submit to the elder v 5 All submit to one another v 5 Be clothed with humility v 5 Humble yourselves to God v 6 Cast all your care upon God v 7 Be sober v 8 Be vigilant v 8 Resist Satan in the faith v 9 This method of satanic defeat v 9a is open to every child of God SUBMIT yourselves therefore to God RESIST the devil and he will flee from you Jas 4 7

this verse has stir up some thing inside of me that is very powerful IT IS CALL AWAKENING l believe by faith we have overcome just as the bible says in revelation 12 11 that they overcame him by the blood of the LAMB and by the word of their testimony and they did not love their life till death
Your burdens and worries are for God to provide solutions But you need to present them to Him Trusting Him with your heart God is waiting to hear from you Why delaying your blessings

ELDERS ARE LIKE ROLE MODELS TO THE CONGREGATION, CALLED TO ASSIST THE PASTORS IN FEEDING THE SHEEP.
LET ALL HUMBLE OURSELVES BEFORE THE LORD AND HE WILL LIFT YOU UP. CAST YOUR BURDENS TO JESUS FOR HE CARES.
You only worry at your own risk,God is just waiting for you to give it unto him for he knows what to do,thus make a choice worry invites fear but casting our problems to God brings peace and strengh to our hearts.
When you cast something. You throw it. And that's exactly what Peter was trying to tell us. So whatever is troubling us. No matter how minor or great it appears to us.Jesus wants us to bring it unto him. Cast it. Throw it all away upon and unto him. Then watch the Lord take care of it. For he can't take care of things that we are still holding on too. Let it go!
As a word lover, to me the word "cast" implies that we "get rid of" by letting go of whatever is bothering us. We transfer the burdens of this life
to Him who "does all things well"! How many times it is that we awake to the morning light to find that the burdens of yesterday have all disappeared because we accepted the invitation to "cast all our cares on Him" 12-12-13
The Bible say He's close to the broken hearted to deal with any situation we're facing, so all we need to do is to trust in Him with all our heart and lean not on our own understanding as it says in the book of proverbs 3:5, therefore let us give Him time to do what is capable of, after all He's God and He's always on time and anything under His control will never be out of control, when He close its because something must be open. Don't worry , listen! keep on pushing and casting all your care upon Him as its says in the word. He's a opportunist God. I also Thank Jesus for renewing my blood from positive to negative. Amen
Jesus said that he would never leave us or forsake us. He wants to hear our prayers and answer them with the love and compassion that only he can give. We must stand fast on his word and pray without ceasing.This is what he desires from us.
Great is Thy Faithfulness, My Father, for You have become a Father to me who grew up fatherless. You are Truly Holy and worthy of my praises! You LOVED ME SO MUCH, and longed for us to once again have a united relationship with eachother, that you decided You would allow Your only Son Jesus Christ to live to die a one time sacrifice so that I could be saved and live eternal with you one day in Heaven. There will be a day, all I need to do, is be obedient to His Word and upon Him cast all of my fears, troubles and doubts, then I should find myself blessed and happy to say that Im IN LOVE WITH HIM and its within HIM that I place all of my love, trust, and confidence. In doing so praying to Him so that I do not find my self fearful or worrying about even the smallest or greatest of needs in my life, because nothing is greater than He who is within me, that if I placed my love cares, and trust in Him that I will have nothing to fear, but fear itself. He has plans to prosper me and to give me hope so that I have no need to worry, and to come to Him with, supplication and thanksgiving, but most importantly a daily communication with Him in Praises and Prayers, so that if I am praying then Im not worrying for anything, and if Im worrying then I am not praying! Amen.
we should pray steadfastly knowing that satan is out to make us depart from the truth. He comes in pleasantly-looking manners that we may nt discern without grace.we shud b humble b4 God so as 2receive this grace 5:6,8
No matter how big or little a problem may be.. turn all your problems over to the most high GOD. Cast every care upon him for he can handle it better than anyone else can!
we cannot fully understand the verse is saying until we try God on how good he is in our lives. God really cares for more we can imagine if we will just put all our trust to Him.
