You are always with them, you will not leave nor forsake them may you give them new Grace, hope and strength! In Jesus name amen

Will be sharing your prayer request with other intercessors.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean to your own understanding . In ALL your ways acknowledge Him (God) and he will direct your path. Proverbs 3

Let the "peace of God" be the deciding factor in your heart.

I pray the Lord would grant you Devine clarity, wisdom and guide you as he orders your steps. James 1 says: if any man lacks wisdom, ask of the Lord and he will grant it to you.(paraphrasing )

Spend some quiet time with the Lord, and just wait on him.. he will show it to you! Be still and know he is God!

Gods word / scriptures is your weapon! Speak it Out loud (faith comes by hearing, and our words have power) also put on the full armor of God! Ephesians 6!! Stand on Gods word and promises. Submit to God, trust the Lord. Pray! God is your Help and a very present help in time of trouble and or need. Apply Psalm 91 over you and your home , he is your protection! He will send give his angels Charge over you to watch over you as you ask and pray. Put on worship and praise music, it will change the atmosphere. Pray Often and anoint your home ! If you are unfamiliar with these, please consider looking up some prayers and online teachings on spiritual warfare. Confess your sins, those could be a doorway to the enemy. Also look up spiritual house cleansing. Sometimes we have things in our home that is not of God, as you pray, may the Holy Spirit show and guide you. God bless you.

Often when people come out of other religions from personal experience it's necessary to

    1. Repent,

    2. confess

    3. renounce and then

    4. rededicate your life to Our Lord Jesus Christ!

Sometimes these steps are necessary because of strongholds that may be there! Please consider seeking help from a trustworthy Christian pastor or counselor IF you may need deliverance from any relationship or bondage so you can experience total freedom if that may apply to you or be the case.

I pray the Lord Jesus Christ, by His Holy Spirit would lead and guide you, continue to order and direct your path!

Jesus Christ came so we might have life and Life in abundance! He came to set the captives free! He loves you! God bless you and I hope this may be helpful.
  • Tom - In Reply on 1 Peter 5 - 2 years ago
We do not wrestle against flesh and blood! Therefore consider to study Ephesians chapter 6 and other scriptures; Apply these scriptures by putting on the full armor of God! The word of God is our sword!! Use it it's your weapon. See Luke 4 how Jesus defeated the enemy! He said it is written! And then quoted the scriptures! Also speak out loud scriptures like psalm 91 for protection look up scripture about spiritual warfare! Also "Praise and worship" is a weapon! Praying through the house and Anointing it and playing worship music softly will change the spiritual atmosphere. There are some great teachings on the internet on spiritual warfare. I pray the Lord will lead and guide you, by his Holy Spirit.

Heavenly Father, according to Thy Promises, in the Mighty Name of Jesus, by the Power of the Holy Spirit, I claim healing for Kevin and Jenny. 2 Samuel 7:25, "And now, O LORD GOD, the word that Thou hast spoken concerning Thy servants (Kevin and Jenny), and concerning their house (their bodies), establish it (healing) for ever, and do as Thou hast said." Thank You Heavenly Father, Thank You Jesus and Thank You Holy Spirit. Kevin, I have you both in my prayers. God bless you both.

Kimberly, I would encourage you to show your dad James 5:14-16

14Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

15And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

16Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

    ---

The Lord God healed me in just a moment of time - I thank the Lord God for the promise He made to us in James 5. But infinitely more important than our physical health is our salvation - now I don't know your dad, but I know from Matthew 7 the majority of "Christians" are not of Christ, even those that prophesy in His name (I hope that's not the case for your dad, but I'll write this because he may need to hear it):

    Matthew 7

22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

And he may be of Christ, but that depends on if he's cried out to the Lord Jesus with a broken heart of sorrow for breaking God's Laws:

    James 2:10

"For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all."

    Psalms 34:18

"The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit."

God saves someone when they have sorrowed to repentance, which is being made sorry after a godly manner (i.e. repentance is not turning/changing)

    2 Corinthians 7

9Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing.

10For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

I just sent this message to someone else, and saw your prayer request, and hope you'll prayfully consider this matter:

I was ill for almost 3 years, close to being bedridden, but in just one moment of time, the Lord Jesus Christ had mercy on me, and God healed me. Just like it says to do in James 5, I called for the elders of the church to pray over me, and the elder and I spent maybe 50mins confessing our faults one to another, and after we prayed for God's forgiveness and mercy, he laid hands on me, anointed me with oil in the name of the Lord (poured olive oil on my head), and prayed for the Lord's healing, and that moment I was healed.

We didn't know what we were doing, but we just tried to follow the scripture as closely as possible, and the Lord healed me! I wasn't healed because of our own goodness, but because of the Lord's goodness and mercy that He showed on me and others who were suffering grief for me (like my mom).

I encourage you to pray for faith, and follow what the Lord instructs in James 5:

    James 5

14Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

15And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

16Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

I am going to do everything in my power to continue praying for you that God will break this open.
  • Destiny Farr - In Reply on 1 Peter 5 - 2 years ago
Bonnie, I think you for that advice but we have done everything from cps, police, sheriff, DHS, and Doj. Everyone that we have run into is corrupt including the attorneys that we hire to help us and do absolutely nothing. But I think you for your response. I believe that only God can help at this point.

On break at work. Just for fun, it just occurred to me that I have never owned a TV. Once around 35-38 years ago I bought a VCR for my roommates TV and shared in the use of the TV. We had zero reception and cable wasn't big in the early 80's.

I think this was God's leading in my life looking back.

1 Corinthians 1:10. Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

1 Corinthians 2:12-13. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

1 Corinthians 3:19. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

1 Corinthians 3:21,23 Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; And ye are Christ's; and Christ is God's.

1 Corinthians 1:31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

Hi carleton ,you are sadly correct ,i often read posts on here that i dont agree with but i try to respect other peoples opinions ,i might if i feel strongly about something challenge it but i would probably only challenge it once and then let it go ,we have a saying in u.k. : no point in flogging a dead horse ,its better if we can focus on the things that bind us in order to promote as much unity as we can and uplift each other in what we all know is the Truth ,i wonder if im flogging a dead horse with this message .
  • Carleton on 1 Peter 5 - 3 years ago
Speaking of brotherly love, There is very little evidence (without naming names) on this website of brotherly love continuing.

God Bless our meditations in this matter. God bless our increase in this matter.

    In Jesus name. Amen.
