If not saved: a hindering, harassing, unclean spirit. Ephesians 6

    Go on YouTube and watch some spiritual warfare videos on how to recognize it;

How to make the spirits leave.

We don't want to see devils everywhere: we just need to bind them and cast them out. Unsaved people don't know they are wide open to be afflicted spiritually. Pray in your car privately. The realm of the spiritual is open to only the spiritual.

Tim, I believe you're correct in your understanding. The fact that believers will partake at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb ( Rev 19:8-9) & also stand at the Judgement Seat of Christ is proof enough that their sins were fully dealt with while on Earth & they have been 'accepted in the beloved', being found spotless & holy to stand before His Presence.

Yet, it is incumbent on every believer to confess & turn away from every known sin while on Earth, not with lip service, but from a heart constrained by the Spirit & from one who longs to please his Lord in every area of his life. There are many 'Christians' going into confessionals as a routine or believing that God overlooks their continual sin by virtue of Christ's death, who sadly are impostors & are ignorant of the Truth & do despite to Christ's sacrifice.

The question is: what are the 'works' that are judged when we stand before Him in eternity? What have we built upon that foundation of Christ? Will it only be the works of visible ministry & the preaching of the Gospel amongst the unreached, or will it also include the unseen labours that have blessed humanity with Christ's Love or even shaken Heaven's Gates with their fervent prayers? But for those whose works will be burned, whose lives have produced nothing of worth, they will still be saved "yet so as by fire".

    Dear Tim,

2 Corinthians 5:10 seems to say we will be judged for our sins.

And 1 John 1:6-10 says Christians sin, but we need to confess them and if we claim we don't sin then we accuse Jesus of being a liar and the word isn't in us.

So, because of these scriptures I believe we will be judged for our sins. We need to try hard to avoid sin. There's currently some fake news spreading around claiming that it's ok for Christians to sin and be of the world, but that info doesn't come from God. Matthew 10:28, Matthew 5:48, Hebrews 10:26.

    God bless...

Christians will stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ to be judged for our works, not our sins. Christ died for our sins on the Cross and we are completely forgiven. We will answer for the works done in the body after our conversion to Christ good or bad. They will consist of gold, silver and precious stones. The fire will consume hay, wood, and stubble. So if our works remain we will receive a reward.

I believe this is in context of Christians being chastised for the wrong doings and it shall be in our bodies upon the earth. Please consider Icor 11:30. This portion is closely related in the context of Pro11:31

Judgement will start at God house. Will christians be judged based upon sins or labour? If upon sins our sins are forgiven and forgotten as the East is far from the West and I will remember them no more. So which judgement is that?

    Thanks

    Rui

since Jesus suffered for our sins, we should try no tot sin either, but live our best for God. sometimes we have to disappoint others when we can't do the things they want us to...but we must instead follow Jesus and try to do His will.

To die mean to sieze from all pleasurable desire, and to suffer mean to endure excruciating pain even when u go through such not because it is by evil u do but for sake of one u love with all your heart and ready to lay all for such a one as christ did for us.

it teaches of what Christ had to go through .. he had to suffer it also teaches us to have charity which is love and we should treat one another with hospitality an that we also have to endure hardship and having things say about us but we should rejoice once it is deemed falsely cause Christ himself was accused but he had to fulfil purpose so take courage.

Verse 1~Jesus not only died for us but he was willing to suffer in the flesh. As fleshly humans we must examine whether we are willing to imitate Christ and suffer if needed to honor Jehovah God and support his sovereignty.

Thx Rev for keeping it real for the careless Christian presumes Salvation instead of Fearing God. As Peter states"scarcely are we saved" but if we whole heartedly love his coming and devote our lives learning what the"whole truth" from the Creator of our souls might be, and spend our fleshly existence in fear of destruction of our living souls, for what has God to do with unrepentant presumption

1st Peter 4:2 is the verse which should make us either recognize or doubt our salvation. If we cannot find the desire to abandon the pleasures which Satan so vividly displays then we should have a serious conversation with our pastor and our christian friends.
Learning to submit to the desires of our Lord, is paramount to our salvation.
Ask yourself. "What does Satan really do for me".

Verse 11: No matter if we are speaking or helping others, we want to do all things to God's glory so that he may receive the praise.

Verse 9 urges us to be hospitable to others without complaining. We want to be willing and happy to show hospitality.

Our high calling of God in Christ is to walk with the heart and mind of Jesus our Lord through this world, and not to any more yield ourselves to the easy ways of the old man who lived without a conscience toward God. These are the very things that are so deplorable to the devil heathen nature of the ungodly, and the reason for their relentless opposition, contradiction and persecution of Christ.

Marlo,2 23 '13 - You are so right as Jesus said to satan 3times in Lk. ch. 4: "It is written". Jesus used the WORD against satan of which Jesus is the WORD .

That man can not expect to live a easy life of sin and then enter eternal life with God in heaven, when the righteous must suffer though life to serve the Lord to make it into heaven.
