The Word of the Lord endureth forever. Jesus said "My Words are Spirit ". When the elements all melt in a fervent heat the only thing that will remain is Spirit. What is Spirit? It is what we are not. We are flesh, God is a Spirit and those that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. He has given us a spirit, the eternal part of us from Him that will never die. This spirit will live eternally after this life ever connected to our soul. This spirit will be with God for eternity or be separated from God for eternity. The Word of God is sharper than any two edged sword able to divide asunder the soul from the spirit. The word cuts in between the soulish fleshly part of man and the spirit eternal part of man, and speaks to that spirit within us. Our spirit longs to return unto God, and it is eternal just as the Word of God is. Lord Jesus bless everyone who read this today with the knowledge of eternal Salvation through your spotless blood that was shed for us. Amen
In the study of this passage, I noticed that the Lord 's intent is for the Body of Christ to see the correlation between honoring God 's Word by the power of the Spirit unto unabashed continual love of God 's people. We are to be patient and kind and long suffering with one another, as the Lord is with us. It is through the example of how we love one another, that the unbeliever, sees the love of God born out in this world. When we love one another with fervent vigor, we are living testimonies of the great and unconditional love that God has for all of mankind. The passage can be broken down into 5 sections Seeing that ye purify your souls HOW? in obeying the truth VIA the Spirit RESULTING IN unto unfeigned love of the brethren FOCUS ON seeing that ye love one another HOW with a pure heart fervently The purification process begins with obeying the truth, by the Spirit of God which links to loving the brethren unconditionally. We can do all things through Christ, Who loves us!

Both books of Peter are filled with so much word I ask for prayer to be filled with the Holy Spirit and to continue in God s path because he has one purpuse for us all That is to follow him and to live in his image God created us in his image and we as humans need to accept that one day the good Lord will be coming down and calling upon hid followetrs and asking for our fruit Thank you Jesus for everyday and the new born life you have given me GLORY TO GOD

APOSTLE PETER IS REMINDING US OF OUR HERITAGE,WE ARE STRANGERS HERE ON EARTH SO WE SHOULD BE CAUTIOUS OF THE FACT THAT ONE DAY, WE WILL GO BACK HOME. WE SHOULD NOT BE COMFORTABLE ON EARTH BUT WITH FEAR. REMEMBER SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD,ALL OTHER THINGS ON EARTH ARE BONUS
Be ye holy as I am holy. That verse really stood out to me. We have to be like Jesus. He was our living example. We have to think sober, talk sober, walk sober. We have to live a holy uncountable spiritual life.
I can greatly rejoice in the Lord when I am troubled about things in this life and am under a load of care concerning myself or others as my time in this world is temporary and I have an eternal home in Christ Jesus.
This is possible only with those who set their mind on things of eternal value above.

I think many people have fashion and conformed themselves to the way of the world, and the word of God is telling us that these things on earth are corruptible, and they will pass away. For we were bought with an incorruptible seed. We should be holy in all that we do, because GOD is holy.
Verse 23 "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever."
I would have to ***ume the word of God, also, means every verse in the Bible pertaining to born again salvation. All these verses would have to agree with one another, because ALL scripture is inspired of God. Therefore, ALL scripture DOES agree with one another.In other words John 3:5, Romans 10:9-10Acts 2:38, and the rest, MUST ALL give us the same STANDARD information, pertaining to salvation or the born again experience. Unfortunately, mainstream Christianity "VERSION" of salvation is drastically different---from the version found in Acts 2:38.

Oh such sweet ***uring Love making manifest even in every area of our sinful lives HIS faithfulness. Truly more than just David has said "I have ran through a troop and by my God I have leaped over a wall" Psa.18:29.May we all shout to our "First Love" with our backs against the world both now and forever "Kept by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed at the end of the age.Even so come quickly LORD JESUS Amen.
