Wesley's Notes for 1 Peter 2:12

2:12 Honest - Not barely unblamable, but virtuous in every respect. But our language sinks under the force, beauty, and copiousness of the original expressions. That they by your good works which they shall behold - See with their own eyes. May glorify God - By owning his grace in you, and following your example. In the day of visitation - The time when he shall give them fresh offers of his mercy.

Discussion for 1 Peter 2:12

  • Brianna for verse 12
Jehovah God always encourages us to lead by example and do things for God 's glory. If we have good conduct and we should as Christians anyways those who may not know God, just might come to worship him. It also mentions God 's inspection visitation. SO, not only can your conduct benefit you, but also allow others to come to know God and be saved.
