Delta; it was NOT an "apple" and it WAS disobedience! One thing is clear throughout the Bible, as well as in each of our own lives; is that God is fair and kind and gentle with us, with all our propensity to evil. Sin also is like a Pandora's Box, and increases to worse in the one who is captured in it. Jesus' blood cleanses us from all sin, and His work on the cross breaks its power over us. AMEN

The apple - the Bible does not say it was any particular fruit. A thought came to me as I began this: the Bible says we 'eat' His word; just - what if Adam 'n Eve had some form of something to read (please don't jump all over me; I'm just 'musing' here; I am not changing any scriptures); I admit this is really a -- s-t-r-e-t-c-h. It could have been literal fruit.

I wouldn't say that Adam was wicked for eating the apple. God told Adam to eat from any tree in the garden except the tree of Good and Evil. Adam was deceived by his wife Eve who convinced him to eat the apple. I believed that is how the world had to be to show the disobedience of man all because of Adam sin. Thank God Jesus came to died for our sins so that we might have life more abundantly.

Why did Adam eat the apple?

Adam only wants food in a chapter he wicked because he ate from the evil tree the sin he was naked with no skin.
