1 John 1:8 "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us."
  • Barbra Bullard on 1 John 5 - 8 years ago
Like, 1Jn. 5:17; "All" unrighteousness is sin. If you want to go to heaven one day, you will not commit sin and you will have nothing to do with it, "sin". Because sin cannot get into heaven. Not even one speck of sin. We all must be free from "all" sin; living free from "all" sin and we must stay free from "all" sin in order to get into heaven. Spot-free, wrinkle-free and blemish-free.

The bible tells us that we should know a tree by the fruit that it bares.......an apple tree will not bare bare figs and an orange tree will not bare apples. A man cannot serve two gods. Therefore a sinner pretending to be a Saint is still a sinner.
  • EARL WRIGHT on 1 John 5 - 8 years ago
NO YOU CAN NOT SERVE TWO MASTERS,MATT;6;24 ONLY TO SPIRITS ON THIS EARTH,BOTH CAN NOT BE IN YOU AT THE SAME TIME, WHEN YOU SIN SATIN ENTER YOUR BODY,IF YOU REPENT,THE HOLY SPIRIT CAN RE-ENTER. How does Baptist theology and vv 18-19 relate? Can one be godly and a sinner at the same time? Can one be a sinning saint? Can one be " dead to sin" and still partake of ungodliness? Just wondering.

This is an excellent book to help all Gods children understand his wonderful nature that the kenites would like to continue to hide from us.
    Don't be beguiled by them.
    Study to show yourself approved!
Let God know you love him.

Rose Anne Enriquez, It is not a sin to drink wine. It is a sin to be addicted to strong drink, and drunkeness.
    1 Timothy 5:23, Romans 14:21, Ephesians 5:18, Psalms 4:17, John 4:46, etc.
There are many verses where God instructed some people not to drink wine.
If you put the word wine in the "search words or verses" box you can read all verses the include the word wine.

    Re: JOHNSON
Because the RSV is exactly what it says "revised"....MAN HAS GONE IN AND CHANGED GODS WORD TO WHAT THEY WANT...SATAN IS TRYING TO DESTROY HIS WORD....STICK TO THE KING JAMES version, preferably the SCOFIELD BIBLE....check it out, as many preachers use this one...
  • Johnson on 1 John 5 - 8 years ago
Look at 1 JOHN 5:7 - "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." - - THIS VERSE HAS BEEN THROWN OUT FROM REVISED STANDARD VERSION (RSV). Somebody please tell me why?. TQ

This scripture has bless me to believe more on the Lord God. I believe as long as I'm doing what He wants me do I'm in His will. I believe as long as I follow the word and as it says, I'm in his will because the Lord is my shepherd I should everything I desire because of His. There's nothing to big and nothing to small for our God to perform. He's a great God He deserves honor and majesty

I have a question about whether it's ok to drink a little wine with dinner. I know that in the old testament there's alot of scriptures where God blessed them with vineyards and wine. Then there are some where is says not to drink strong drink. I don't drink so my question is if it is okay to drink a little wine with dinner?
  • DSM on 1 John 5 - 8 years ago
Confirmation for me. In my walk at the moment, I'm completely opposite of what this scripture says. I don't have confidence and honestly, I'm scared of His will. I just thank the Lord for sending His word...always on time...to reproof and correct me.

( you see there that the only begotten Son which in the bosom of the Father-- in the bosom or in God ) - eph. 3:9 you see there that God created all things by Jesus Christ.

Brothers and Sisters in OUR SAVIOR AND LORD JESUS CHRIST.The BIBLICAL CANON WAS solidified in THE EARLY CENTURIES. THE COUNCILS OF TRENT AND NICAEA. Not until CONSTANTINE IN THE 300'S WAS THE TRINITY SOLIDIFIED and made doctrine. NO VERSES have been added or TAKEN OUT SINCE THEN. THIS IS JUST ANOTHER ATTACK ON CHRIST'S DEITY. They did not take out ALL THINGS WERE CREATED "BY " HIM "CHRIST. THEY JUST CHANGED IT TO "THROUGH" HIM .JUST READ THE CLOSING STATEMENTS OF REVELATION. I DO NOT think I would change much after the CANON. YOUR BROTHER IN CHRIST ,john

Jesus came down to the world by the flesh to understand the Humanity and not as God. He was Born thru Mama Mary by the Power of the Holy Spirit that was revealed by God in the form of an Angel. The Heavenly Father, The Son and the Holy Ghost are in one as they speak one word and one wisdom. Jesus has the perfect obedience to the Father by redeeming us on the cross. Thanks to Jesus for the Blood that shed for us. Our Heavenly Father proclaim that there is no other above name is only Jesus the Jehovah this is because of his perfect obedience Our Heavenly Father handover everything into Jesus hands, our job now is to believe his Son Jesus Christ and love his words and commandments until rapture. John3:16 "For God so love the World that he gave his only Begotten Son Jesus Christ whoever believes in him will not be perish but have an everlasting life. Praised you Jesus and thank you Lord for everything you have done into our life. You are worthy to be praised. i love you and trust you forever.. Amen
