The only way one can be perfect in love is by keeping or obeying God's commandment, reading the scripture, singing songs of praises to God, pleasing God with your daily services, and been prayerful always. A feeling of glad any time you do some good or pleasant, that is the presents of the spirit of God in a man.
Then, the spirit of God in you will automatically tell you, you don't have reason to fear any circumtances.

Everyone (including those who raised you) is a work in progress. I don't have all of the answers, but believe that God does not make mistakes. If God put you here, God needs you here. You will never know which lives you've touched. Perhaps that is where faith becomes important.
My anxiety and panic was coming from a rejection of myself for having it. This verse freed me from it. Self hatred or rejection of parts of self cause fear. Give yourself the same respect and love you give to others. Love yourself, than you can love others.
I need some advice from believers. 1 John starting with v-8, He that loves not, knows not God. Second, v-18, there is no fear in love, but perfect love cast out fear. I have not known the concept of love, I have loathed myself since childhood, what do I do? V-13, 15, 2, I have confessed Jesus as Lord, believe the Holy Spirit is given to me, and v-2, says I am of God, So how can I know I'm of God because I confess him without shame even, but yet not be of Him because I love not? I was scorned, betrayed, beaten, and was told repeatedly I am nothing by my very creators, both of them, and that's what I've been, nothing... I don't know how to love myself, in the sense of any worth, never mind knowing how to love others, so how can I be anything useful? I've prayed a lot over my 50 plus years but live in complete fears, not love, need help... Thx.

First, I would say that the woman wasn't right in giving it to everyone else contrary to what God has told her to give it to a man. She disobey the message of God to her. Secondly, it's true that God communicate with her because the instruction was GOOD and not evil. Anything GOOD is from God. The Lord still communicate with those people who has a pure heart and do righteousness. Just as how He talked to His chosen people through dreams in ancient times. But this is very rare now because too few now a days are righteous in the sight of God.
God is all about love love love!We receive it from HIM we should give and share it to others. When GOD's love rule over us earth will become a perfect place! Praise GOD! Thank you JESUS! I LOVE U LORD! Amen!

These verse 1 John 4:2 means that Jesus came from spirit to dwell with us here on earth who are in flesh. In fact, this scenario was made clear in John 1:14 that says the "Word" was "made flesh", and dwelt among us. Therefore, it simply means that Jesus was "not" in the form of flesh "before" he was made flesh. He came out "from" God as it was written in John 17:8. That's why in John 1:1 it says in the beginning "was" the Word and the Word "was" with God and the Word "was" God. And the day he was born here on earth, that's the time he came out of this world in the form of "flesh". That flesh whom we called Jesus Christ was declared by God as His beloved Son. Saints, We must study and pray consitantly, and repeatedly, for Tim 2:15 says, " Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth".....................We need this book to soak into us that we may get this understanding right: Because Gods word is loaded, and most of it, can only be spiritly understood. And it's the reason so many people comprehend, and interpit it so many different ways, because; only the Holy Siprit can give you the true understanding of what Gods word is saying. So we study, to show God that we really want to understand his word. And our effort incourages Him to grant us our true hearts desire.
Recently, a woman came into our church with a message to a man (who was not present at the time) that she said God had told her to give him. She proceeded to give it to those who were present and it was very confrontational. Since she says God gave her this message to give him, was she right in giving it to everyone else? How do we know God really told her this?

GOD is love. The love towards GOD reaches to HIM and the same love returns to our soul in perfect form in divine nature anointed by HIS HOLY SPIRIT. Such love cast out fear from a person.
