1Jo 4:10 Herein is love. Love manifested. The heights of love are shown, not only in sending the Son, but sending him to be the propitiation for our sins; to become a sin offering for us, and to die for us. See PNT "1Jo 2:2".

Discussion for 1 John 4:10

  • I love this verse It s great for valentines day
  • What a wonderful blessing to be the object of God's affection, the apple of His eye. I'm in awe!!!
  • Innocent Wilson for verse 10
We have been favoured, rather we have been love thats what this passage is saying, God made an initiative to love us and thus He sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Love that God has for us led Him to sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Because of His love He gave Jesus Christ. The propitiation in the Jesus Christ did not awaken love in the Father for us, but because of this Love Christ was sent for us. What love! Father thank you!
