The body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and we are to glory the Lord in our body. Flee sexual sin, for who ever does this sin, is sinning against his own body. Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed holy. Adulterers, and fornicators God will judge. As christians we are to judge disputes among ourselves, because one day we will judge the world as well as angels. Therefore we are to be able to judge such small matters among ourselves. Thank God that we have been washed, and santified in the blood of Jesus. God has cast our sins as far as the east is from the west, and since he does not remember them anymore, neither should we. Forgive and you will be forgiven. Don't let your past keep God from using you in the future.

This helps me in so many ways but what I like best about it is that it explains that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God and then gives examples by name. It reminds us of what not to do if we intend on living in the kingdom

This book of the the bible real helps me to try my best to be away from sin and follow the path of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Terry L, clearly you can see the 9th verse of the 6th chp. of Pauls first letter to the Corinthians expresses Gods disdain for homosexual acts. Where as He loves the offender, it's the offense He will not allow! Jesus said[not me]"Neither do I condemn thee, go and sin[do not commit homosexual acts]no more!"

This Chapter tells me to be mindful of myself and of my own salvation. Not one verse tells me to cast judgement on anyone regardless of their sexual prefrence. I know this draws alot of heat from alot of Christians but its their for each man or woman to understand. The chapter explains this body is the temple of Christ so we as humans dictate what each and everyone should do. Now if I was to read this which I have I have concluded that I need to clean my temple. Which means I need to lose weight and watch what I eat for i am fat and that to is a sin according to the works of the Bible. So you see for every judgement past by us we refuse to see the sin in our own lives. So be careful and be strong of faith and understand God works on all men and women and I am sure he has never came down and told you that so and so are hell bound because they were gay! Only you and God know about you and God. Thats why it is called a personel relationship with Christ not public. So therefore u derstand you know not the heart of all men and women only of your own.

Why are all those Christians taking Christians to court? To get a divorce, sue them, force them to confess etc certainly not! We are called to reconcile not to cause division! We are called to forgive as our Saviour has commanded us to do so

You iudge not. Saints iudge the world as worthy of Saving. They are with the Holy Spirit of Grace. They abhor death. They do not iudge anybody to it. The Spirit of God that is Grace, which automatic forgiveness, Eternal and Perfect, Desires for you to be Saved. It's hard to believe, but it's easy to Know: Perfect is Perfect. Iudge not! Don't go to "heathens" with the law and tell them that they're doomed. Discern the behavior, and Iudge them not. They are Brothers! They are not to be Iudged by you! As they are washed from Sins, as one offers them iudgment, they shall receive that iudgment.

    YOU JUDGE YOURSELF.

    Judgment's opposite = Grace.

    God is Grace.

If you read The Book and see any support whatsoever for Judgmental Wrath, put it down and work on Patience and forgiveness.

Greetings from our blessed lord and savior jesus christ to u all. This chapter really tells us, as christians, not to pull the same yoke with heathens, cos the bible says, what frendship has God and baal. Christians should not take their matters to the worldly people to judge for them, for GOD is our chief judge and our chief justice, therefore we ought to depend on him always no matter what. Again it says, our bodies are the temple of GOD where as, if we defile our bodies through any means, GOD is definately going to destroy us cause it says, any tree which does not bear forth good fruit would be ut off. Thank you and continue to dwell in the grace and hope that ur reward is great in heaven. GOD BLESS U!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God is telling us through his servant Paul that we are spirit-filled bodies. But this spirit is offended by sin, the sins that Paul delineates, especially fornication, which is a sin against thr body. Why? There is such strong emotion in the body generated by sex, which should be unabated love for one's partner. So if we indulge out of marriage, where do these strong feelings end up. They dissapate, dissolve, become nought. The spirit is offended and longs to flee, back to the father from wence he was sent. The spirit is happy with purity, like a chaste virgin, a holy warrior of God, a servant of God who abides in obediant observation of the commandments of God. Is this not so? Test what I say and you will see that it is.
  • JEMIMAH MWENDWA on 1 Corinthians 6 - 12 years ago
As Christians we should avoid fornication because it is the sin inside the body.
  • Hesavedme's on 1 Corinthians 6 - 12 years ago
I Thank the Lord Jesus Christ that there is a word to let us as a people know that we can be without sin. We were created for his glory and to give him glory.Thats why we need Holy Ghost filled leaders sent by God to feed the people.Without this people will have their own knowledge of what the word is saying. How can you hear without a preacher, and how can he preach except he be sent.God's word is right all by itself. We should use our members that he blessed us with, and praise him, glorify him, work for him, worship him, and I can go on and on about what we as a people can use our memebers for in him, that he would be glorified.Choose life over death.Believe the word of God.

I love this chapter cause it let me know that i dont need to draw up a lawsuit on anybody. I look and see if something happen that need to go to court for, this is when you will see how strong your faith is. If its meant for you to get a reward from it GOD will give it to u!!!! I never saw the righteous forsakeing are there seed begging for bread. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not to your understanding. This chapter also tell you not do man and men marriage, and women and women marriage. Its time to get are house in order, cause tommrow is not promise to anyone!!!
