Let every beliver do everything in fit with the Father 's will.
  • Amos on 1 Corinthians 3:21 - 9 years ago
Man was created a baby in the beginning without knowledge, wealth, clothing, power, self defense, he was just like a farmer which land brought increased for, as for such a farmer had nothing to boast about than to give thanks to God who made the increase possible. If man were to be boasted he supposed to be a self dependent right from his birth, that means he supposed to be able to clothing, feeds, takecare, advice, impacted knowledge to others, drive, cook, bath right from the day of his birth, so in as much he could not do all this things by himself had nothing to boast about.
  • Bill on 1 Corinthians 3:15 - 9 years ago
"Losing one s soul has nothing to do with eternal condemnation. It is being deprived of it at the Judgment Seat. It is suffering loss 1 Cor. 3 15 rather than receiving rewards. It is entering the millennial kingdom without glory, not being able to enjoy the incredible wonders of that Edenic world to come, and consciously regretting that more spiritual good soulish choices were not made in this life. " cr. James Hollandsworth The Paradox of Saving the Soul KingdomPreparation
  • Bill on 1 Corinthians 3:13 - 9 years ago
"Work of an inferior nature i.e., temporal and self dependent will be consumed in Christ s testing fire, and be considered a loss in the kingdom. That saint of God, though eternally secure, will be ashamed at the Judgment Seat, and will consciously regret his verdict throughout the Millennial kingdom, having no opportunity to rule and reign with Christ the very purpose of our millennial existence! . Only work of an abiding nature eternal and Christ dependent will survive and be rewarded in the kingdom. Because we fear our God Who is a consuming fire Heb. 12 29 , we should passionately convince fellow believers of their coming appointment. " James Hollandsworth I did not have the right perspective of the millenial period

You are correct bruce the church is the people also called a little flock by Jesus and paul tells us Jesus is the head and the body tho has many members are all one. There are so many different named churches and have so many different beliefs. Just as Jesus said many will come in my name deceiving many. In His Olivet sermon. The fire are the trials we go trough as humans we either come out refined or we give in just as fire purifies precious metals. When we truly repent we have to change from our worldly ways and that in itself is hard. But we will also face problems from friends family and co workers. And persecution from authorities which is already starting to happen in America and other parts of the free world. Quoting the bible can be seen as hate speech now. many deceived Christians are accepting abominations to the Lord and taking scriptures out of context to justify it. Just as they did when the catholics instituted Sunday for the Lords Sabbath easter for Passover and Christs mass to vie for the pagans that worshipped tamuzz on the 25th of December. And other pagan days rejecting Gods commands to keep His Sabbaths for ever as Holy convocations. The bible is Gods word not mans we have no right to change Gods word. This is why revelation 12 16,17 and 14 12 are vitally important to understanding wether you are obeying Jesus our head or not luke 4 16

  • Bruce on 1 Corinthians 3 - 9 years ago

  • Amie on 1 Corinthians 3 - 10 years ago
Responding to Ken Reckarts question It does Bit in this chapter that s not what they are talking about Remember they r at the church of Corinth They r talking about defiling the church Doing things that defile the the church There is a part n the Binle that talks about defiling the human body temple but n the book of Corinthians it s talking about the church

Fellowworkers equal labourers working the Lords field each one according to his asigned task in the same field the church Paul and Apollos were serving on behalf of God at that field in corinth in the sameway we as labourers we are to serve our employer not looking down on other labourers because we are answerable to the same master Christ Jesus who has apointed us to work his field as faithful ambasador representing him here on earth persuading the world to come in christ and walk in him but the servants of today see their brothers and sisters in the service as competitors istead of co workers hey there is nobody s flock they belong to GOD the church including those in the service belongs to Jesus we are his field we are being worked by the Holy spirit that is why he apointed some prophets apostles evangelist pastors teachers and teachers to work the Lord s field church to the maturity for the coming of the day of the LORD

Verse 17...I truly thank God for cleansing my temple to be more like him...the word says how can light n darkness dwell in the same temple.....our thoughts, conversations, way of living must reflect our confession of our Lord and Savior Setting our affections on things above and not on the earth.Amen
  • Bert on 1 Corinthians 3:15 - 10 years ago
It takes faith plus a "step" to Christ, the only work is confessing Christ. If there is no other works, he will suffer loss yet be saved so as by fire. Amen, what a savior.
  • Amma Apenteng on 1 Corinthians 3 - 10 years ago
"verse 17,If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are".

  • R. D. Mattock on 1 Corinthians 3 - 11 years ago
GOD CLASSIFIES THE WORKS OF BELIEVERS SIX AREAS: GOLD, SILVER, and PRECIOUS STONE are worthy objects which will survive the Judgment fires. WOOD, HAY, and STUMBLE are destructible and worthy objects which will not survive the Judgment fires. Verse 3:10 Let every man take heed of what he builds thereupon. The Judgment fires of God shall try every work. I want to be found building a structure that is going to stand refining fires of the almighty God. If you place a solid gold bar in the fire it will melt, and if you pour it back into a mold it will come out a solid bar of gold again. You can grind a diamond to powder, and it is still worth something. Verse 12 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. Verse 15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss, but he himself shall be saved. There is going to be tears at the Judgment seat of Christ; Fear and trembling. Not everyone who goes there is going to receive a reward. Some will be stripped of the rewards they thought they had. If our works do not stand the judgment fires of God, we will still have eternal life but the crowns and the rewards will be lost.
  • Timothy Wayne George on 1 Corinthians 3:10 - 11 years ago
Thank God that Jesus Christ is that solid foundation, that we must build upon. Jesus told the story of the wise man, and the foolish man. The foolish man built his house upon the sands, and the rains came, then the floods descended, as a result the house fell. The wise man built his house upon the rock. The rains came, then the floods descended, and the house stood firm. We must be wise as we build on the foundation, and make sure it is the Lord Jesus Christ. The fire will determine that at the Judgment Seat of Christ. So let us labor together in the gospel. As one plants, another waters, but only God can give the increase. All the glory belongs to God.
  • Jean gadsden on 1 Corinthians 3:11 - 11 years ago
What is the meaning of foundation?
  • Amy on 1 Corinthians 3:14 - 11 years ago

  • Eria Majitu on 1 Corinthians 3 - 11 years ago
1 Corinthians 3:2, We are all children before the word of the Lord. We learn new things every day at a very normal pace, just like a child being fed with milk first, and gradually with meat.
  • Lillie on 1 Corinthians 3 - 11 years ago
To me, this chapter is saying that we come into the spiritual walk as a child. We first crawl, then we walk. Once we grow and learn we should be ministering to others. What purpose do you serve in soul saving for God if you are not planting seeds
  • Grace on 1 Corinthians 3:23 - 11 years ago
It's a great proclamation of who we are, it is uplifting to know the clear and direct relationship I have with God through Christ, by Grace. Not dependent on me, Jesus already paid the full price. It's awesome. Thank you Jesus, thank you Lord.
  • Tanieca Morgan on 1 Corinthians 3 - 11 years ago
The demanding truth of this passage is that no amount of spiritual insight or experience reflects true spiritual growth, if it is separated out from basic growth in the knowledge of God's word in the bible. Without this rootedness in the word, we are diluted about our growth. 'Quote from new spirit filled bible'
  • Som on 1 Corinthians 3:21 - 11 years ago
Let nobody boast of things of this world, for they are given unto you by the almighty God, the graet provider.
  • Helen on 1 Corinthians 3 - 12 years ago
what you sow is what u reap, either good or bad ur reward is on the way. Do what is acceptable on to God.
  • Juliet chadzingwa on 1 Corinthians 3 - 13 years ago
Paul is telling us that every person must produce fruit that will stand the test of the Lord Jesus Christ. The fruit will be tested with fire and be rewarded accordingly. he also says that the Lord Jesus Christ and the apostles are our foundation and we are building on this foundation. Therefore our input must be acceptable to the Lord i.e. must be tested and be rewarded accordingly. We are to avoid the wisdom of this world. This wisdom does not please God
