Ray321; Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace. According as thou hast believed, be it unto thee. Blessed is she that believed; for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the LORD. . . When there's a real work of grace wrought in a man, and one has received the Word in a good and honest heart; then there will necessarily be the reflection of that grace in his life.

1 Corinth 15:1-4 this is the most important verse in the Bible for Salvation today. People are so blind not to see the message in this chapter. All we have to do is believe this verse is true and be saved. Jesus paid it all for us on the cross, we don't have to do anything but believe . I Love this chapter of Paul's epistle. Thank you Jesus for saving my Soul. Amen

And they that have done good heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies that have done evil beheld them. But woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has but a short time.

Jim, where does this say in the bible, All who are Christ's when they die their spirits all go to glory until the Resurrection and the dead lifeless body
rests in the ground without the soul in it and we will be given a new body. We also will be able to recognize one another from the old body.
  • Cheryl Angela Wood on 1 Corinthians 15 - 6 years ago
On the 3rd day He arose and removed the pains of the devil. We are victorious because of His sacrifice AND obtain a clean slate as white as snow, to start a new life in Christ, through His gift of salvation. ..

vs. 27,28,29 no other comments on the fact that until Jesus delivers a perfect world back to the father, he is not under the subjection of the father. Which I believe indicates our prayers should be to Jesus, not just in Jesus name.

    Hi Jeanie,
When the bible refers to " sleeping"( in this context) it is referring to our bodies, not our spirits. Indeed, those who die in Christ before the rapture or second coming, go to paradise. This is ehat Jesus referred to thief on the cross. Also, in Luke 16, there is reference to this paradise ( a holding place until we r given new bodies in the likeness of Christ), called Abraham's Boso
  • Jeanie on 1 Corinthians 15 - 7 years ago
Have you guys noticed they talk about how people that are dead are sleeping again. They say that alot in almost every book in the bible how people who r dead are sleeping and waiting for christ to come again. Why are people being taught that we go to heaven or hell when that is not what it is teaching us. In revelatiion it said how the dead shall rise when christ comes. Were they not risen?

Be committed in all you do for our heavenly father. Don't get worked up on what others are or aren't doing. Keep your eyes focus on yourself and the improvements you can make in your own life. Keep your heart and ears focus on what God is saying to you.

Without sowing there won't be germination, desire to be sown and die of sin so that u be raised and germinated into righteousness and incorruptible.

Sit with a minister, elder body is God given from the start, each body of flesh, yet was God is concerned about in giving us the ability to choose or not is ours...did so out of love for us ...god is concerned about your soul as you should be also. Our bodies are just a compartment to carry our souls as it were, for when we die we go to the ground from where we were taken...biology shows us that we disenegrate there, yet your breathe of life is what makes you a living Soul in Gods eyes, each one has Gods notice and if he created us, he surely can re-create us ! Yet He promised this would happen when the time of his re-appearing shall come. That s why Christ the Son of God willingly gave His life, and more importantly, has Risen again in what ? SPIRIT ...to be with His Father in heaven....to show us from words in scripture he will do just that! Yet you realize that the dead are risen first by Christs own words! There are only a chosen few that God has called to his side that were still alive on earth. Nobody goes to heaven when they die. But it sounds nice too say and teach, God made us and he can re-Make us. There is so much more to this but it will have to wait.......please dont worry, about what kind of body God may give us, cause this is all we know, these bodies we have....imagine being a spirit though!! Wow...

This is so far the best explanation I have received. Thank you very much. Many of your commentaries are justified.

verse 29-see Romans 6:3-5 "Know ye not that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His death? therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death..... "
  • Reshma Armogan on 1 Corinthians 15 - 8 years ago
When Jesus comes the second time we will be changed. We will be immortals and never have to face death again. This was made possible through the death of our Lord Jesus who laid down his life for us. Therefore let us work for him for our efforts would not be in vain in his sight.
  • Margaret Adusei on 1 Corinthians 15:33 - 8 years ago
We are in this world but not from this world. Heaven is our home. So even though we are always around unbelievers and the scripture tells us to win them for Christ, we must be careful as believers when it comes to relationships in every area of our lives. We should know whom to share our problems with. In Acts 4:23, after Peter and John had been threatened not to do anything in the Name of Jesus, where did they go? They went to their "own company " not friends or people with canal mind. Let us do the same. Amen.
  • Ed on 1 Corinthians 15:20 - 8 years ago
"Never to die again " clarifies the comment that Chris was the FIRST of a great harvest to be risen from the dead.
  • Sarah skeens on 1 Corinthians 15:33 - 8 years ago
What this means is don 't let people fool you to act like them or be swayed by what they say. Because they are carnal minded and it could rub off on you if you. Decide to stay around those type of people.
  • Jacqueline Johnson on 1 Corinthians 15:33 - 8 years ago
To me stay away from negative mine people because the devil work through them to bring a positive thinking person down and especially a Christian person who is living for God, and living for God you don 't want to be caught up with the ungodly people carnal state of mind, you have to keep in mind that you are a child of God and the world is watching your life so stay focus on the prize of the high calling that is in CHRIST JESUS, and remember God love you!
  • Herbert Luzon on 1 Corinthians 15 - 8 years ago
I have yet to find another message in the bible that is s as touching and very encouraging as this one. For a clear insight reading the whole chapter is recommendable.
