A disciple's comment on 9/14/2017, 10:43pm...

"Therefore if I know not the meaning of the voice, I shall be unto him that speaks a barbarian, and he that speaks shall be a barbarian unto me." The Lord gave four examples of the kinds of hearts men have with respect to hearing and receiving His Word. The examples all came out of the individuals' own making of what kind they would be; for God's will is clearly for ALL of them to have been saved.

A disciple's comment on 9/10/2017, 8:10am...

Wayne; God commanded the woman to be under obedience and subjection to her husband in Genesis 3:15 directly after pronouncing to the serpent his eternal condemnation and the breaking of his head by the coming of Christ. The Western Churches are in disobedience to this Word because of rebellious worldly influences and thinking they're above such things, thus opening the door to more and more evil.

Steve morrow's comment on 9/07/2017, 9:51pm...

5:43 I AM COME IN MY FATHERS NAME AND --- YOU RECEIVE ME NOT --- IF ANOTHER SHALL COME IN HIS OWN NAME HIM YOU WILL RECEIVE JOHN 14:15 ---IF YOU LOVE ME---KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS 1 CORINTHIANS 16:22 IF ANY MAN LOVE NOT THE LORD JESUS CHRIST LET HIM BE ANATHEMA MARANATHA ACTS 20:30 ALSO OF YOUR OWN SELVES SHALL MEN ARISE SPEAKING PERVERSE THINGS TO DRAW AWAY DISCIPLES AFTER THEM

A disciple's comment on 9/07/2017, 4:51am...

The Law for the women to keep silence and be obedient was commanded by the LORD God in Eden because of the woman's being beguiled by the devil. All things decently and in order, is the right way for Christians to conduct themselves; both at home and their usual surroundings, and in Assembly. Most all of the Western Churches however have abandoned modesty and orderly conduct for worldly influences.

Wayne's comment on 9/07/2017, 12:27am...

Had a woman preacher in a church on west coast who lead the congregation for 20 years. Highly respected and loved by all.

Ann's comment on 9/06/2017, 4:00pm...

I have heard pastors say, women are to be kept silent in church, women should are not to preach in churches.

Julia M Rivera's comment on 9/05/2017, 8:13pm...

The head of man is Christ and the head of the women is man therefore a woman must summit to her husband who is the head of a congregation and be silence! Yes she can learn through her[ head ]husband and teach what she learns to her children..So the head of the family must follow God's laws and commandments and become holy.

Cephas's comment on 9/05/2017, 11:53am...

Luke 23:4 Then said Pilate to the chief priests and to the people, I find no fault in this man. John 19:6 When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him. Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Steve morrow's comment on 9/05/2017, 6:10am...

1 TIMOTHY 2:11 LET THE WOMAN LEARN IN SILENCE WITH ALL SUBJECTION --12-- BUT I SUFFER NOT A WOMAN TO TEACH -- NOR TO USURP AUTHORITY OVER THE MAN -- BUT TO BE IN SILENCE

Sisterdjj's comment on 9/05/2017, 3:21am...

Verse 34:14 "Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law." I have read a modern translation saying "silent during church meetings". Does this mean the worship service or what? As a woman who has been called by God to evangelize preach, this verse has always offered me some confusion.

Geraldine cole's comment on 9/05/2017, 2:49am...

U known sometime God will send a word and if there is one in the church who understands the word that was spoken in tongue then that person is to tell the people what God is saying. we know that tongues shall cease but we must remember to love one another the bible say if we speak in tongue and do not have love we are nothing u see God is love that why he sent his son to die for us love Amen

Wayne's comment on 7/28/2017, 11:08pm...

But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant. V. 38. There are those, as the Bible states, will struggle in their ignorance of scripture, to their destruction.

Electric_Angel69's comment on 7/25/2017, 2:10am...

concerning the speaking in tongues... Pauls not talking about the cloven tongue. He is talking about teaching in places where the people speak a different language. If you do not know the native tongue in Italy, for example, it would be quite difficult to teach the Bible to the people. That's why Paul says in verse 18 : I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all.....

Mari's comment on 7/23/2017, 6:24pm...

Oh but there most certainly is speaking in other tongues for today Sad thing is that it's not preached on much. My small church speaks in tongues. Its mostly in the "spirit filled" churches will you find this. The Ho!y Ghost (Spirit) is for everyone

Ray321's comment on 7/21/2017, 4:52pm...

1 Corinthians 14:1 Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy. Love is so important in this evil world today. CHARITY

A disciple's comment on 7/21/2017, 5:08am...

Ray; Ask and you shall receive, Seek and you shall find, Knock and it shall be opened to you! The Father is generous with giving wisdom and knowledge and understanding, when we ask Him. There are many good prayers in the Bible, put there for us to use; for example: Psalm 119:73 "Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments."

Ray321's comment on 7/20/2017, 4:37pm...

1 Corinthians 14:11 Therefore if I know not the meaning of the voice, I shall be unto him that speaketh a barbarian, and he that speaketh shall be a barbarian unto me. Paul was being very clear about tongues, if a person could not understand the voice, then he that speaketh tongues is a BARARIAN. Wow, what does that profit. The Word of the Gospel is what we should be spreading to the unsaved.

Douglas Gilbert Wells's comment on 7/19/2017, 5:57am...

The unknown tongue is to give glory to the God above this earth. And to mess to the god of the this earth and below this earth. That also the Judge the above this earth who shall the. Earth because of it sin that truly the judge above this earth. Amen to that

BSP's comment on 7/18/2017, 8:06am...

Verse 9: We should give attention to the fluency of our speech. If we do not speak clearly, our message may be confused or will not come across clearly at all.

Ray321's comment on 7/11/2017, 1:29pm...

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. If we use God Words the way He wants us to, it will be approved.

BSP's comment on 7/10/2017, 9:42am...

Verse 25: People should be able to see that God is really with true Christians by their words and actions. Those who have God's approval will display godly qualities.

Ray321's comment on 7/05/2017, 6:42pm...

Tongues wasn't Paul's first priority. Paul set the rules for speaking in tongues in this chapter. Thru out all of Paul's writings, you will notice that all of his gifts were fading out, thus that mean we don't have them today, it was a sign for the unbelievers. With the hi-tech stuff we have today, we can speak any language to communicate the gospel to the world.

Brother carl's comment on 7/01/2017, 1:35am...

We don't know how to pray as we should. So God gives us his own language which are mysteries. This way the Holy Ghost makes intercession on our behalf to the Father. So what we do first is to speak and sing in the spirit with tongues building up our holy faith, and then we speak and sing in our understanding. In the assembly unless someone can interpret let us be orderly and speak to ourselves.
