People's Bible Notes for 1 Corinthians 15:27

1Co 15:27 For he put all things under his feet. Quoted from Ps 8:6, a statement that Christ is Lord of all and that God has subjected all to him. He is excepted, which put all things under him. God gave Christ the power, and hence he is excepted. The Father is not subject to the Son.

Discussion for 1 Corinthians 15

  • I AM
For the Father judges no man, but has committed all judgment unto the Son: because he is the Son of man. For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth. Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice: Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them.
  • I AM
And they that have done good heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies that have done evil beheld them. But woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has but a short time.

Jim, where does this say in the bible, All who are Christ's when they die their spirits all go to glory until the Resurrection and the dead lifeless body
rests in the ground without the soul in it and we will be given a new body. We also will be able to recognize one another from the old body.
