"And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;" This is such an interesting part: to think about the man Moses, and how great he was in God's sight; the meekest of all men on the earth; and one to whom God spoke face to face, as a man speaks with his friend. Thinking about the great high calling of being a people closer to God than any others in the world; to bring Jesus to all!

1 Corinthians 10:23 "All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not." Bruce, For you to say my question was a "little bit ambiguous" did not edify. After all, I said "In light of" if something is brought into the "light" with hope that it will edify (offering knowledge) someone; I would think it not "ambiguous."

"For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing." Did you know, that the Classical World of the Mediterranean, North Africa, and the Middle East, were almost all Christian, before the evil coming of Islam? And did you know the sword of Islam caused the Dark Ages?

"But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed." Temptations will cease when we're ten minutes dead. Until then we have all grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, and His Spirit in our hearts, to stand firm and not sin. All the promises are to the Overcomers and that's what we intend to be, by God's mercy and power, that works mightily in us in Jesus' Name! Amen Praise JAH!
