"Greater love has no man than this, that he lay down his life for his friends." All these people who have signed up for Public Service are counting us as friends; but many [unfortunately] can't even think on this level.

To David, the water was as precious as the blood of the three men. Therefore, it was unthinkable for him to drink the water, instead he poured it out on the ground.
