About 10 years I woke up not breathing and my son came over and said that I didn't look right and he said he was going to call the ambulance. I told him that he better not because I was fine. He went outside and called anyway. By the time the ambulance came and when they got me to the door of the ambulance, I heard let go and let God! I said OK to myself then I felt total piece and no pain no where.
I woke up in the hospital with doctors all around me and they asked me how long do I think I was sleep. I told them a day or two. They smiled and said try two months. They told me that my heart and my lungs had stopped working and I was pronounced dead at first and then I was in a coma for these two months. I had to have a tracheotomy so I could breathe. I forgot, I couldn't talk, I had to write everything down. I was sent to a nursing home for rehab to learn to talk with a tracheotomy. I was there for 6 or 7 years, going back and forth to the hospital for passing out with heart failure. They decided that I needed to be on life support.
So I was moved to a facility that specializes in life support. I was on life support for three years and then I was released just last year without needing anything to go home with my family. I was released a week before Christmas! God has blessed me abundantly! After that the doctor figured out that I kept having heart failure because my heart had a leaky valve. So about 7months ago I had to have open heart surgery. God brought me through that. The doctor told me that I a new heart.
Now, I drive myself back and forth to my doctor appointments and anywhere I need to be. All this is through the greatness of God! I was a woman that was bed ridden, knocking at Death's door to moving and doing for myself with my family all around me. Hallelujah! Praise God! God is super awesome to me and for me! Hallelujah! I tell everyone about the greatness of God and what He has done for me!
