At age of nine years of age . Mum and Dad where out shopping. I grabbed a chair and got the bible down off the fridge. I read about creation the ten commandments . Also I read Jesus ,that Jesus will come as a thief in the night .One stormy night Dad said ,.Better take a torch and head down the back paddock and shut the cows in. Fork lightning lit up the mountains and I ran faster than Forest Gump. .Got back home and pulled the blankets over my head .This lasted for years .I know that my God of love will never come to those .who have Jesus as Personal saviour . Because I will meet him in peace . He knows all about me and accepts and you with unspeakable Love.
At primary school I was taught by a christian teacher. the story about the ten lepers stuck in my mind. At thirty years of age I was in dire straights with a D9G bulldozer a ledge gave way in a copper mine . I was terror stricken ,both knees were welded together .the wide blade down and sliding to doom. I cried out loud ,"Lord save me and it stopped so steep I was nearly out of the seat . The boss was away and the other block heads were yelling abuse at me. After a lot of overburden was dumped beneath me and another bulldozer climbed up and pressed a blade full of dirt against my machine i was able to start up an slew away . Once free I trundled out to the tip head thinking about the ten lepers .nine of them didn't thank Him. I gouged out a trench ,straddled the same . with the big diesel t******* above me .I thanked my Lord for sparing me . Many years past I joined My church learnt so much ,so many blessings have flowed I am 69 now have a christian wife ,four grown up children and four grandchildren . Satan has tried to end my life so many times {I could fill this page full), but this one was the most frightening. Resist the devil and he will flee from you .Draw near to God and hHe will draw near to you . Claim the promises .It's like working in a mine the deaper you dig the greater your reward.the Most wonderful gain is to accept Jesus our lord as Our Righteouness and Personal saviour and be His polished Jewels. I don't push dirt anymore ,just the gospel
