Testimony: John 14:13 "whatever You Ask In My Name, That Will I Do, So That The Father May Be Glorified In The Son.

Jeremy's testimony "John 14:13 "whatever You Ask In My Name, That Will I Do, So That The Father May Be Glorified In The Son." on 8/02/2013, 1:38am...

Hey this is my testimonie about how i became a believer and learnt to let go of my addictions with the help of none other than Jesus Christ our Saviour. i became a believer in christ from when i was depressed and had frequent thoughts of planning out my suicide. then one day i decided i was going to stop living in sadness and so i prayed to god allmighty and said "God you can have me." and with that my whole lifestyle changed and now i have hope and no longer have thoughts of killing myself. that was a year ago and early 2013 i met a guy called Kim who walked around a square telling his story of how he has the lord in his life and when he met me we talked and he offered to take me to church and i hadn't gone to church alot and didn't think i needed it to grow stronger with the Lord. Kim would text me every Sunday and the first few weeks i would feel discouraged and lazy and texted Kim making excuses but i thank the Lord for Kim cause he helped me get into church and also we would pray together. one day i told Kim i smoked synthetic cannibis and saw it as a struggle. and so we both prayed for me to get off of it, Kim lead the prayer and i didn't want to give up but i kept that prayer in mind and later on i wanted to and prayed. now truly i am off syntetic cannibis and marajuana and don't have any cravings. and cigarettes the same thing happened. now these two things i thought never in a million years would i give up. i mean why would i have wanted to? i loved it to much. But as the scriptures say in Romans these sorts of things result in death! Now i feel free from addictions and thank God for all of it. Jesus enourages people to ask for anything they need to make it right with him as the scriptures say Mark 10:27 Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is possible with God.”
