I grew up in a family where there was a lot of strive and physical abuse. 'I will kill you' were words that were spoken in our home almost everyday.
At a very young age I would go on my knees praying to the God who made heaven and earth asking Him to intervene. At the age of 14 years someone from abroad came to evangelize in our school and gave me a Gospel Tract. The tract showed pictures of the disobedience of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. That's how man was separated from God. Curses and all bad things originated from man believing the lies of the devil.
Man tried to fill that gap with religion and all kinds of things. Nothing helped. Love stepped down from His throne to come and rescue humanity. God is love. Nothing is impossible to God. He became a human being to set us free, to rescue us, to heal the sick, the brokenhearted. This is the reason the Son of God was made manifest to destroy the works of the devil. Our real enemy is not a human being but the devil and his demons. Jesus Christ laid His life as a sacrifice. Christ was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon Him ( that's why He carried the crown of thorns) and by His stripes we are healed. He shed His innocent blood to cleanse us from every sin. He cried out on that cross it is finished. He went to hell so that we can go to heaven.
Death could not hold Him. He defeated the devil and his demons. On the third day He rose again. JESUS CHRIST IS THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE. HE IS THE RESURRECTION. He promised: Anyone who believes in Me shall have eternal life. At the mention of His Mighty Name every knee must bow and every tongue confess that He is the Lord of lords and the King of kings. Acts 4:12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. I found out this truth. You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. Jesus is alive and God's Almighty arms are wide open to make us His children. For as many as believe in the finished work of Jesus on the cross, God gives the right to become children of God. If the Son of God sets you free you shall be free indeed.
After reading the tract I was so touched that God cared. I believed and asked God to forgive me and I asked Jesus Christ to be my Lord and Savior. My family thought I had gone crazy. They persecuted me. I now had hope and continued praying for them.
Years later, one after the other they surrendered their lives to Jesus too. God delivered me from suicide thoughts. Jesus Christ has healed me of diabeties, migrane pains, and severe menstruation pains.
The Good News is that God has no favorites. What He has done for me and my family He will do for anybody. God loves you. God changes seemingly impossible situations. Those that men reject God wants for Himself. As long as we are breathing there is hope. Run to Jesus. He loves you. On that cross God was reconciling man with Himself. The blood of Jesus is powerful enough to cleanse from every sin, past, present and future.
Today, many years later, I can testify that God is faithful. Jesus Christ is the author and finisher of our faith. He will never give up on us. Isaiah 46:4 I will be your God throughout your lifetime - until your hair is white with age. I made you and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you. This is a promise from God's Holy Word, the Bible. Praise God. Hallelujah. Bless the Name of Jesus.
