For a long time, I have been looking forward to have man who will be my life companion. As a child of God, my ideal man was a God fearing man. In 2007, I met a man whom I thought will be my life partner. We dated for more than 5 years without committing to each other in marriage, I longed that we should marry, therefore I kept praying God to unite us in marriage.
The more I prayed that we should be united in marriage, there were more problems we encountered in the relationship which constantly hurt me, he was becoming more distant, finally we broke up in 2012. I was too hurt when we finally broke up, I had been lonely in relationship with him but still I thought it will be better when we stay together. I cried my tears, wiped them and thanked God that we broke up, I continued to pray God to take away my loneliness and give me a life partner. Early 2013 I met a God fearing man whom we struggle together to please and do the will of God. We are soon preparing for our marriage. God sometimes says “no”, for our own good. He takes away from us that which is not suitable for us, to provide us with what which will bring peace and happiness, we are to trust Him to take control.
