During my childhood I was dealing with same sex attraction. I've lost my first girl-friend, & probably because she found out. I realized what I was doing though because of that courtship that I had with her. I realize now that I was dishonoring the very best gift that a man could have ("He that finds a wife finds a good thing, And obtains favor from the Lord", Prov. 18-22 NKV). It was that year('93) that I surrendered my life to God, and He forgave me of sin. The following (academic)year ('93-'94) there was a girl who was like me, shy a little. I think God's hand has been upon us, and that she is the one that He has just for me. I choose to sow to the Spirit. Sowing to the flesh and dishonoring my mother and father hurt me so bad.
I was delivered from many things. I once defied authority frequently. I was sent to reform school three times. The music I got into was horrible. I thought that hardcore, secular bands like "Danzig" were the best thing.It was a horrible mess, and may I say being delivered, I now have much relief. I was once a slave to sin, everything the cool kids wanted to do, fool with pot, & with alcohol. I sold a dangerous, illegal drug to buy more and more pot to use. I "tripped", that's a street term that refers to blowing your mind with a hallucinogen, which is very dangerous. I've been before God. He took this evil, stony heart away, and gave me a heart of tender flesh. I am now a church member, of the Nazarene denomination.
I wadge war every day. Without God's armor and His sword I could not defeat powers, principalities, dominions, and rulers in high places. They come against us all,so pray, and get on the whole armor of God, this is something one could never be sorry for. No, you will never wish that you hadn't!
