Very interesting. But to comment on, I have to work more on it.

Mario's comment on 9/01/2014, 11:15am...

I don 't see middle eastern at all lets not ignore the truth once again. Solomon is more like the tribe of Benjamin or Levi so please brothers and sisters do your research it will help you to know the bible.

Kimber's comment about verse 6 on 8/31/2014, 8:11am...

I thought the woman was speaking at this point and that she was the one who had black or very dark skin. Either way the people of the Bible, especially the Old Testament were of the Middle East and therefore a shade of brown light or dark they were darker than pale skinned Europeans I thought I would add that part for people like James who might have an image of pale skinned people when reading the Bible .

L.N.'s comment on 8/13/2014, 3:45pm...

Pastor luke's comment on 2/04/2014, 1:59pm...

It is very important to understand the big picture of Solomon to grasp the truth. The end really ties it all together with Revelation Watch YouTube Pastor Luke- Song of Solomon and Ecclesiastes

Sheree's comment on 1/18/2014, 11:43am...

Personal hygiene is important and the use of perfume is a plus. We can be around attractive people all day long but we must not lust after them that is only reserve for your husband or wife. So, don't let your eyes linger upon them to stir up passion of lust..

Marang's comment about verse 6 on 12/23/2013, 10:26am...

I think about dead fish selfish. If you don't have the Holy Spirit to guide you or you continue to do wrong to Gods people there will be consequences. People need to understand that the symbol of dead fish means a fish without the living water. Most people find times where they run into self centered individuals. These people can be in your very own family so you have to be on guard to take care of your own life before you allow someone to use you up.

Sam C's comment on 10/19/2013, 7:53am...

All the Songs Of Solomon are foreshadow of Jesus' love for his bride the church. remember that all scripture is given by inspiration of God. Solomon is a foreshadow of Christ and the Shulamite Bride is a foreshadow of the church. The passion and adoration of these Old Testament characters represent Christ's love for His church. Remember Ephesians 5:25

Alicia's comment on 10/01/2013, 11:02pm...

The woman represents the Church and she talks with her love, which represents Jesus Christ. One day soon, Jesus will come back to take the Church to the King's chambers and abide there. Beloved Lord Jesus, tarry not long! Rapture your love to the home you've been preparing above! But until you're time be revealed, we will wait.

Patrick Pollard's comment about verse 5 on 9/20/2013, 3:00pm...

Not 'he' is black and beautiful, but 'she is black and beautiful. Note the 1st phrasings from the 'Song of Solomon.
1. The Song of songs, which is Solomon's.
2. Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth:
for thy love is better than wine.
3. Because of the savor of thy good ointments
thy name is as ointment poured forth,
therefore do the virgins love thee.
4. Draw me, we will run after thee:
the King hath brought me into his chambers:
we will be glad and rejoice in thee,
we will remember thy love more than wine:
the upright love thee.
5. I am black, but comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem,as the tents of Kedar,as the curtains of Solomon.

Abraham Rutto's comment on 9/13/2013, 2:26pm...

This verse is not only amazing but also a revelation, which I didn't get in my over 40 years of attending and working in d church. Truly, it's only the Spirit that reveal the secret things...

Alison Vaissiere's comment on 5/14/2013, 11:15am...

Where do I find the Wisdom of Solomon in the St. James' version please

Rotimi Israel's comment on 5/11/2013, 1:15am...

The Song of Solomon typifies the kind of love that Jesus Christ (the Groom)has for his Church (the Bride)

Nancy's comment on 5/05/2013, 5:34pm...

you people need to re-read the scripture. The bride is going into the Kings chamber. The woman is describing herself, she is black.

Shania's comment on 3/06/2013, 4:05pm...

It does not matter at all, whether Jesus was black red purple or green. What this is about is Jesus' love for us? The only thing that matters is his love. He doesnít care if we are black or not, so why should we care whether he is?

Chasey's comment about verse 5 on 1/15/2013, 4:58am...

He saying he is black and beautiful.

Reggie's comment on 12/30/2012, 6:31am...

I am black but comely O ye daughters of Jerusalem; thatís Solomon speaking.

Ms S's comment on 12/03/2012, 12:46am...

Please stop taking the word of God out of context and jumping to wild unbiblical conclusions. Read the entire thing. The next sentence says it was because of the sun. Anyone who stays in the sun for a long period of time will become darker over time. Also, people of the Middle East are usually olive complexion and do not have mostly pale white skin to begin with.
