People's Bible Notes for Romans 8:7

Ro 8:7 Because the carnal mind [is] enmity to God. Is opposed to God's law, and demand for a righteous life. Hence, since it fights against God, it is under condemnation. He does not say that it is impossible for a wicked man to become good, but that it cannot be done while he retains a carnal mind. He must be converted first.

Discussion for Romans 8

  • Bob DeHaan
This chapter of Romans I had not read in some time. I feel convicted that I need to better listen to the Holy Spirit than to the flesh. We Are so easily distracted from God's calling in our life because the world is constantly sucking us away from the Spirit.O Lord help me to study and walk tall as an overcomer in Christ. I stand each day on your promises.Thank you for your mercy and grace.

Nothing shall separate us, Praise Jesus!
  • Grace
yes nothing, nothing at all can be in position to separate us from the love God whether death, persistent trails, lack sickness in this world. trails are always with us so we have to endure and look unto the cross. so if you are to forsake Christ it means it will be on a daily basis.

We must be ready when he call us don't let no one come between u and God no matter what no one .u no family will try to break your spirit when they are unsaved but test the spirit see if it be of God then bind up the devil u see the devil want to steal your gifts and your gifts that Jesus has given us is in our spirit and out gifts are the works he has told us to do in this life Amen
  • BSP
Verses 38 and 39 show that absolutely nothing, not even death itself, can separate us from God's love. That is such a comforting thought of how deep and powerful God's love is.
  • Bob Hucik
There's more than sufficient evidence in this chapter of this letter to satisfy all who hunger for righteousness. Article 30 explains that if one repents, is baptized in the NAME of the Lord Jesus Christ you WILL receive the Holy Ghost. With the very Spirit of God residing in the one who follows Him they will they will diligently seek to see His Face and follow Him as a bride to wed Him-TRUE LOVE!
