Wesley's Notes for Romans 12:19

12:19 Dearly beloved - So he softens the rugged spirit. Revenge not yourselves, but leave that to God. Perhaps it might more properly be rendered, leave room for wrath; that is, the wrath of God, to whom vengeance properly belongs. #Deut 32:35|

People's Bible Notes for Romans 12:19

Ro 12:19 Beloved, avenge not yourselves. If we are injured, we are to leave the matter in the hands of God and give place unto wrath. He sees and resents the injuries of his children. For it is written. See De 32:35. Vengeance [is] mine . . . saith the Lord. The Lord claims it as his prerogative to avenge what needs to be avenged. When we do it, we trample on the divine rights.

This is a very important chapter because it's talking to believers, the instructions here is how to live daily and how to conduct ourselves. Whenever we face trials and tribulations he's giving us the way we should be with non believers and by doing what the chapter says we can make people come to Christ that is what we are called to do.

I think Romans 12 is talking about how GOD wants us to wait for his conformation if we want to do anything.
