People's Bible Notes for Romans 1:25

Ro 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie. By giving up the worship of the great unseen God to worship an idol; a creature, rather than the Creator. At first, idols were probably designed as only representations, but they finally became objects of worship. Just so, the images in Roman Catholic churches were intended at first as helps in worship, but have become to great multitudes really idols.

Discussion for Romans 1

  • Sutton
Romans 1 is about all sinners gay or straight that our ways and thoughts are as he says as far from his as the earth is the heavens. God loves all his creation, but he hates the choices of our free will against anything he has designed it and things to be. Romans 1 is my self examination of myself and seeing my every second need for My Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Some may not like my view, but I definitely believe the message in vs 24 thru 32 is very clear - being gay or lesbian goes against God's word. Sincere repentence and being born again is the answer.

This passage is about the tribe of Dan idol worshiping.

deanne what do you think paul was trying to say in romans 1 26
  • Jackson Rufus
The book of Roman Chapter 1 is a holistic inspiration of God Almighty. It proves the truthfulness and existent of Our God and father in all things he created. For out of nothing he brought out what that exist to be. For there is Almighty God existent in all things he created, living and non living things. Even non living things such as rock are empirically alive un to God and not abstract.

There is no cultural indication, no doctrinal indication, no historical indication, no linguistic indication, no literary indication, no religious indication, that Paul intended to blast lesbians and gays in Romans 1:26-27.
