People's Bible Notes for Revelation 13:10

Re 13:10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity. "If any man [is] for captivity, into captivity he goeth" (Revised Version). The meaning is "Whatever a man soweth, that shall he also reap" (Ga 6:7). "With what measure a man meets, it shall be measured to him again" (Mt 7:2 Mr 4:24 Lu 6:38). If the beast and his adherents lead the saints captive, they shall finally be made captive; if they slay with the sword, so shall they be slain. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. The assurance that God will, in the end, right all their wrongs gives them faith and patience.

Continued. I suggest Introduction And Commentary of The book of Revelation by Homer Hailey. It offers reasonable possible explanations of the many symbols and the reason why it was written in symbols ( so the people of that time may understand) may God bless you for your desire to study His Word

Read Revelations 4 verse 9 then Read Isaiah 44 verse 20 it would be great to read all of chapter 44 and then focus on verse 20

Donald W. Revelation is a fascinating book given to us for our learning. It had difficult parts, but what is intended for our learning today isn't impossible to know with study. Most of the book ready came to pass as is stated in first chapters things at hand and will short come to pass. I suggest Introduction

These beasts are world superpowers named in Daniel. Daniel was WAY back there looking forward, John in Rome looking back, thus reason for the inverted order. Same ol beasts, different vantage point. The conclusion of the prophecy is upon US like a duck on a June bug. It is Christ's will for us to know these things. All reformers and most folk did til about 100 years ago. Healed wound hid it.
