Wesley's Notes for Revelation 1:14

1:14 His head and his hair - That is, the hair of his head, not his whole head. Were white as white wool - Like the Ancient of Days, represented in Daniel's vision, #Dan 7:9|. Wool is commonly supposed to be an emblem of eternity. As snow - Betokening his spotless purity. And his eyes as a flame of fire - Piercing through all things; a token of his omniscience.

People's Bible Notes for Revelation 1:14

Re 1:14 His head and [his] hairs [were] white. White is the color of purity and of triumph. The idea here is not age but heavenly glory. His eyes [were] as a flame of fire. Bright, piercing, all seeing, flashing light, and also a consuming fire of the wicked.

As I read verses 14 and 15, John appears to describe Jesus as a person of color. The wool hair, the feet of brass, the voice. How wonderful it is that Jesus is giving these words to John to reveal to us. He wants us to know the truth as the end is at hand. It does not matter what color. What matters is eternal life with the Father. Amen the true will make us free. Blessed is the word of God.

Kari what people should take away from this book is that Satan comes as instead of Christ or antichrist with peace and prosperity for all who will worship him. Such a joyful time for the lost souls. Then Christ comes at the 7th trump the true Husband and what will he find Satan sitting in Jerusalem and those of the world that worship Satan will feel the wrath of God. If people would only read.

Kari using seals as a base reading Revelation 2 Thessalonians 2 and Mark 13 Matt 24 and Luke 21 that give 7 events that occur Also Daniel 11 vs 21 and on because Daniel lets us know that Satan the vile person obtains his Kingdom with peace and flatteries. So Satan comes saying he is God sitting in Jerusalem with supernatural powers an people worshipping him. The Test? Answer! Wait 4 the true LORD
