Why does it have strange spelling?


CHAP. C.

1 An exhortation to praise God cheerefully, 3 for his greatnesse, 4 and for his power.

1 [A Psalme of praise.] Make a ioyfull noise vnto the Lord, all ye lands.1

2 Serue the Lord with gladnes: come before his presence with singing.

3 Know ye that the Lord, hee is God, it is he that hath made vs, and not we our selues: wee are his people, and the sheepe of his pasture.3

4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiuing, and into his Courts with praise: bee thankfull vnto him, and blesse his Name.

5 For the Lord is good, his mercy is euerlasting: and his trueth endureth to all generations.5
