9:10 Thy name - Thy infinite power and wisdom, and faithfulness and goodness. The name of God is frequently put for God. Put their trust - The experience of thy faithfulness to thy people in all ages, is a just ground for their confidence.

    The KJV, not the NEW KJV, is ALL I've ever read. I am 74. The other interpretations (not 'translations) read like worldly novels to me. The new kjv isn't so bad, but it's not the KJV.

    I take the bible and verses and relate it to the times we are living in. For me, in spite of all that I am going through, I will rejoice and be glad in him. It's his song not mine.

    He's so amazing, how he loves us. No matter what, God is my all in all.

    Be glad and rejoice in the lord alway like verse 2.
    When you are rejoicing you forgets sorrows,pain,sickness and most of all when you rejoice your enemies becomes afraid.

    The verse teaches us to be patient and wait upon him as we seek his face during troubles and cast of them to him. He will indeed give us rest.
