CHAP. CI.

Dauid maketh a vow and profession of godlines.

1[A Psalme of Dauid.] I will sing of Mercie and Iudgement: vnto thee, O Lord, wil I sing.

2I will behaue my selfe wisely in a perfect way, O when wilt thou come vnto me? I will walke within my house with a perfect heart.

A prayer of the afflicted.

3I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the worke of them that turne aside, it shal not cleaue to me.3

4A froward heart shall depart from me, I will not knowe a wicked person.

5Whoso priuily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high looke, and a proud heart, will not I suffer.

6Mine eyes shall be vpon the faithfull of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serue me.6

7He that worketh deceit, shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarie in my sight.7

8I will earely destroy all the wicked of the land: that I may cut off all wicked doers from the citie of the Lord.
