It sounds interesting but am worried at the same time, actually what happens if you pray alone God is not there with me?

Steve's comment about verse 20 on 11/14/2014, 8:53pm...

when there are two of more gathered to worship christ and are teaching his gospel then is his spirit there the holy ghost or holy spirit to confirm the truth of what is being taught, if two or three are gathered and are teaching of christ but but is not in harmony with christs teachings then his spirit will not be there. now i understand why there are so meany different churches today. no one really understands what they are reading.

Dwight's comment about verse 32 on 10/12/2014, 4:29am...

our value is only found through grace. the value of the debt is removed by grace. this allowed the man to be free indeed. but without a thankful heart he receives no knowledge to live his freedom. he lives by law, not grace. he 's judged himself. God expects a softening of our hearts after receiving grace. otherwise we lose joy.

Jim's comment on 10/08/2014, 8:25pm...

Patti understanding is granted through the holy spirit. The eunich that Phillip preached to understood either greek or hebrew in order to read Isias the prophet. What he lacked was spiritual guidance. This only comes from God or through his messenger being filled with the holy ghost. If you desire to reconcile might I suggest following what is written in the first chapter of James. If thou lackest wisdom ask of God who gives liberally. Also a stroms concordence will give you the meanings and translation in the greek and latin.

Patti Day's comment about verse 18 on 10/04/2014, 7:50pm...

The words in the original King James Bible 1611 are very different in meaning from the words in the New American Standard Revised 1995 , regarding binding and loosing. The KJB says, "Whatever is bound on earth shall be bound in heaven ", whereas the NASR says, "Whatever shall be bound on earth, shall have been bound in heaven ". The first says a pastor in good faith can bind or loose on earth and heaven will hold it to be so, while the NASR says a pastor in good faith can only have bound or loosed something that was already held to be so in heaven. How is one to understand this? The words of the King James Bible contradict the words of the NASR.

Dharam's comment about verse 11 on 8/14/2014, 7:56am...

Thank God for the shed blood of Jesus. Now we have been reconciled to the Father by receiving Jesus as our Lord and Saviour.

Blessed's comment on 8/14/2014, 7:13am...

verse 15,16,17 explain the way we should forgive our brethren. go to him and if he hears you YOU have gain a brother if he don 't hear you take witnesses with you don 't go alone the second time if he still don 't want to repent take him before the church and if he refuse to hear the church consider him a heathen and a publican BEWARE THOSE WHO OFFEND A CHILD OF GOD. I don 't mind repenting because I know that it is a part of growing in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST

MockingBird's comment about verse 11 on 8/14/2014, 4:40am...

Jesus is the Son of man and the Son of God. He was and is 100 man and 100 Deity . He came to save that which was lost Linda I believe your right Adam allowed Satan to steal , kill and destroy the kingdom of God here on and in earth I had not seen that before Thanks for your comment !! I also was once lost in sin but Jesus took me in. Praise God for His Amazing Grace !!

Olabode's comment about verse 11 on 8/14/2014, 2:50am...

God sent Jesus Christ not to come and condemn the world, but the world through him might be saved. He came purposely for the sinners to be saved but not for the righteous people .He gave different illustrations, for example the story of prodigal son, the story of lost sheep etc. He also went further by saying any sinner who repented of his sin here on earth, the heaven rejoices with him.

Moses Njenga's comment about verse 11 on 8/14/2014, 2:48am...

HIS name is JESUS YASHUA JEHOVAH IS SAVATION. HE came to set captives free and to destroy the work of the devil.

Blessed's comment on 8/13/2014, 10:06am...

if you are carnal forgiveness is hard. The GODLY WAY OF FORGIVENESS IS DIFFERENT THAN WHAT THE CARNAL MAN CONCEIVE. You have those who do all kinds of rituals to be forgiven. Believing that the rituals will cleanse. Then the ones who are asked to forgive someone and don 't. The ones who forgive and believe they have to stay in that situation. well if you stay in that situation and be abused over and over you haven 't really forgiven you are an enabler. You don 't want him or her to grow and you won 't. GOD 'S FORGIVENESS COMES FROM GOD. THE HOLY GHOST TEACHES US ALL THINGS OF GOD. THE HOLY GHOST SAYS LOVE PEACE JOY LONGSUFFERING FAITH HOPE MEEKNESS TEMPERANCE. WE WANT TO TALK ABOUT LONGSUFFERING WITHOUT THE REST OF THE FRUIT. YOU ARE NOT LONGSUFFERING FOR JESUS IF YOU DON 'T HAVE THE LOVE THE PEACE,FAITH HOPE ALL THE FRUIT LEADS TO A CHANGE IN THE SITUATION THEN IT BECOMES A TESTIMONY TO THE GOOD NEWS OF CHRIST CHRIST DELIVERS

MockingBird's comment about verse 18 on 8/13/2014, 8:28am...

Whatever I want Good or Bad I will get. By thy words thou shalt be justified and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. When I speak contrary to the Word of God mine angel will bow his head and get out of the way and let the evil I spoke come to pass. This is a powerfull verse and not to be taken lightly !!!!

Ola chukwu's comment on 7/27/2014, 2:13pm...

This chapter matthew 18 is a reminder to all Christian the importance of forgiveness , forgive and thou shall be forgiven

Ozoh tochukwu's comment on 7/23/2014, 1:41am...

Matthew 18 24 35 reminds us that God views us as we view our fellows. Actualizing our forgiveness is dependent on our forgiving of others.

Mike's comment about verse 20 on 7/19/2014, 7:41am...

Matthew 18 20 is referring to the disciples. Jesus came Israel on his earthly ministry. The Apostle were given supernatural powers and when two of them agreed then God would grant. This has nothing to do with the Dispensation of Grace. We get our orders from the Apostle Paul

Caroline M. Riley's comment on 7/08/2014, 12:16pm...

Going to a "Rule of Christ " training session at church tomorrow nite and Matt. 18 is the scripture it is based on, for dealing with conflicted situations. I am hoping to gain tremendous perspective in this area and in dealing with those all around. It seems to me the key point here is to become like a little child and to forgive your transgressors. Any other insights from anyone? I am truly hoping praying to get a grip on some of the stressful situations that I am in, most of which are not of my own making, but that I have no choice but to be included in, such as family relationships, work situations, etc. I am hoping this teaching session will open my eyes, my heart and my ears to hearing and dealing with these situations in a totally different way and will help to clear away some of the anger and bitterness I feel towards the folks that have perpetuated so much chaos and confusion. I don 't pretend to be the righteous one in all of this we all play our part. But,to the extent that I do not try to initiate or prolong the confusion and chaos, but rather try to avoid it at all costs, I want to learn how to deal with it when I cannot escape it and HAVE to deal with it. I try not to think about these folks and these situations as little as possible, but when I do, it invades my Christian morals and ethics and feels as though I am about to become someone that I have never aspired to be and to react in totally non Christian ways. I have struggled with this for a long time and don 't want it to be a part of my life any longer. Prayers that this training session will teach me how to cope and deal. Thank you.

what 's everyones main job

MaryAnn's comment on 6/15/2014, 8:22am...

Verse 18 is a good reminder of the blessings of praying together asking for help, wisdom, patience, encouragement, His will instead of just talking to someone about the matter. Prov. 10 19 When words are many, sin is not absent, but he who holds his tongue is wise. Also verse 3 children do not keep records of another person 's wrong doing. It is written We must pray unceasingly and acknowledge Him in all our ways.

Brother Daniel's comment about verse 18 on 6/01/2014, 8:00am...

Mattew 18 18 20 This verse is more than powerful. This verse brings the attention of believers of what their joint prayers can do! The vrs 20 means either two saints or even two sinners with repented mind coming together to call upon the name of the most high will bind the activities of satan and looses the bondage from the enemy.

In spite of the Father 's love, it is not His intention that all or some should face destruction.

Nkosinathi Ngulube's comment about verse 6 on 4/25/2014, 12:11pm...

..cause to stumble...most probably the false teachings that mislead those that hunger for the truth of God

Nkosinathi's comment about verse 3 on 4/25/2014, 11:56am...

Suffer the little ones, they carry the cross with humbleness and soon forget the pains and rebuke and move on, while adults are so full of questions, "why God...... "

Cris's comment about verse 22 on 4/02/2014, 8:32am...
