People's Bible Notes for Matthew 7:22

Mt 7:22 Many will say to me in that day. The great day of the Lord. Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? The Lord chooses out of the greatest class of non-doers to show that all such will fail of entrance. They have omitted the one thing needful, a faithful obedience.

I never thought of this verse as a checklist. I agree that young women and men should not waste their time, energy or words on people who will draw them from God.

I believe God is telling us to put our giving where it is holy , this is act of sowing in the right places.
  • John Pritchard
    So perfectly true, beyond criticism.

I love God and his son Jesus Christ , I love His Word ,this chapter of Matthew has alot to do with the times of today, many people claim to love God and his word but are living in sin themselves but are quick to judge others and not look at themselves ! People are quick to call out their Family ect about their daily sins when in deed WE ALL ARE Sinners, we are to show love and compassion as well

lets all pray for the gift of discernment in the name of Jesus. There seems to be a whole herd of sheep in wolves clothing around these days. In the media, politically, religiously. If someone looks you in eye and says,"honest to God,Im telling you the truth", Beware.

"Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." Matthew 7:15 KJV for me it means a lot. why? because the scriptures says that BEWARE, we can know who are they by discerning spirit right? let's pray to avoid this kind of people. we do usually believe on miracles that was prayed by a priest or anything, i do not get the point that i am discriminating any religion, what i mean is, LUCIFER was the ANGEL of LIGHT before.. and now He is the DEMON the PRINCE of DEMON, then he can be light whenever he wants because he wants to decieve all christians who knows what is truth from bad! everyone FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH!! LET THE HOLY GHOST tells the TRUTH !! SPEAK FOR THE TRUTH!!! IN JESUS NAME !!! LET US PRAY TO AVOID THE DEVIL IN OUR LIFE!!! IN JESUS NAME!!
