Discussion for Mark 3

  • BSP
Mark 3:35 shows that Jesus views those who do the will of God as being considered his family. If we put forth effort to find out what the will of God truly is by reading the Bible and we apply what we learn we can be viewed as Jesus' family also.

1 John 5:6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is TRUTH.
The Holy Ghost is Holy Spirit and that is TRUTH. One can not speak against truth because one would be lying and Satan is the father of the lie. The danger of damnation is lying, being a follower of Satan.
  • Don Adkins for verse 25
"A house divided against itself canot stand" Those that live with one foot in the church and the other in the world is a house of turmoil. Contiually at odds with all that is Godly. Filled with bouts of anger, selfisness and hate. Lacking in the proper love and compassion that is common to those who are truly born again. A house that is truly divided against itself and great will be it's fall.
  • Satan rose up against himself by dividing himself from God due to rebelling against him by commiting the sin of pride.
