@Roger,
1. The invisible God was made flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld his glory (John 1:14);
2. Born again Christians in the church age will spend eternity in the New Jerusalem after the millennial reign of Christ and white throne judgment (Revelation 21:2, 3, 10);
3. Salvation comes by believing on the lord Jesus Christ as your personal savior (Romans 10:9-13);
4. There are many cults that believe in God, Jehovah as their saviour, but the bible does not support believing in God, as source of salvation. We as believers must always remember to make this distinction that Jesus that died on the cross of Calvary for our sins. It becomes confusing to the unbelievers and those that are ignorant of the scriptures;
5. It is now in these days of the spirit of the anti-Christ that we must make distinctions and give heed to matters that pertain to the absolute truth of God's holy word.

To me it is the way we as Christians who have accepted Christ in our life and believe in God, that Christ died for all mankind sins and rose again. If you believe in the one and only one true God, the invisible God. This is the way we will live in heaven with Jesus as our life. That’s why he died for our sins. After God made man he told the first creation that what he made was good. It was the only way we could go to heaven and live with him. We are to follow the scripture that Almighty God gave to Paul to tell the whole world and the gentiles how we are to be. If you don’t believe in God, you cannot be with him in glory. Amen. God bless all that read and study the Holy Bible. In his son’s name.

In ref to Joy's comment. The bible states that whatsoever you do in word and deed do it all the name of Jesus. No there is no hidden meaning here he was telling his diciples to go to Jerusalem until the Holy Ghost was poured out on the day of Pentecost Ac2. 1st there was 500 that waited, then it dwindled down to 120 and then The Holy Ghost was poured out for the 1st time. Jesus is indeed God himself. Did not he say that he was the 1st and the last the begining and the ending. He said he was the almighty in rev and in Ish 9:6 he again is declared the almighty. So lets go with what the bible says it makes things easier.

Jesus means that the repentance and forgiveness should start from Jerusalem in the name of Almighty God the Creator and not in the name of Jesus. If it were to in the name of Jesus, it would have been said "And that repentance and remission of sinnes should be preached in MY NAME, among all nations, beginning at Hierusalem. So all christian should take note:

the scripture in some places uses the word "ghost" and in others the word "spirit". Are ghosts real?

V.39. Symbol? I've heard there will be 5 man-made things in heaven. Also, I once read about a spiritual encounter someone once had. He was shocked when a beautiful personage said, "I am Jesus, worship me". Being cautious, he replied, "Show me your hands", upon which the deceiver dissapeared. In our V.39, Jesus showed his nail scarred hands and feet to verify that He was the crucified and resurrected Savior. This, very real (symbol, if you will) will astound his friends some day (Zech. 12:10-13:6).

Is there a symbol of the Holy Spirit in Luke 24:39? If so, what is the symbol? What is the meaning and significance of the symbol? What does the symbol say about the nature of the Holy Spirit?

Hello
what is for the disciples a spirit ?
one angel ?
good angel or bad ?
one ghost ?
And for Jesus, what do he think when he say: for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have,
what is a spirit for Jesus ?
an angel or a ghost
And for you, what is a spirit in this case?
thank you to give me perhaps an answer!

So, Yahshua (Jesus) says to his apostles that ALL things in the LAW OF MOSES, the PSALMS and the PROPHETS "MUST" be fulfilled concerning me (Messiah, Anointed One, Word Made Flesh). How can we know who this is, what remains to be fulfilled or how the fulfillment occurs, if we don't know all the words of the law of Moses, the Psalms or the writings of the prophets? One would think that religious leaders in Yashua's (Jesus's) generation would not have made the mistake they did concerning his execution (which they assisted the authorities in accomplishing) had the known these things. But wait a minute here – didn’t the religious leaders have the Palestinian academies that studied these works (the Law of Moses, the Psalms or the writings of the prophets) much like we have today? Maybe they had a different interpretation of these works. Well, one thing’s for sure – we know these mistakes of the past could NEVER be made in our day because WE ARE ALL SURE that we know these writings and the interpretations given by the religious leaders is beyond ANY QUESTIONING WHATSOEVER.
