2:25 The consolation of Israel - A common phrase for the Messiah, who was to be the everlasting consolation of the Israel of God. The Holy Ghost was upon him - That is, he was a prophet.

    Jesus was given by God to us because of his love . John 3:16 for God so love the world that he gave his only begotten son Jesus Christ whoever believes in him shall not be perish but have everlasting life amen. What a faithful and loving God we serve. Jesus took our sins pain and worries on the cross he paid the price for us it is finish. Lets keep praising Jesus for everything he have done. Amen

    Luke surely was a man of great knowledge because he know how the people would react to unusual events and that word would be spread very rapidly which would ignite the explosion necessary for God plan to be implemented.

    as a mother who tends to be talkative, I am challenged by MARY'S example in verses 19 and 51 of Luke 2:she stored these things in her heart and often pondered them. that i may be more meditative than talkative!
    Mary and Joseph fulfilled all the requirements of the law for baby Jesus; and He lived a life of obedience and submission to His earthly parents(51).JESUS was the personification of grace
