John 6:2, The people followed (continuously) Jesus (The 4th miracle of Jesus), they had some conviction but he fed them. The Feast of Passover was nigh. The multitude was hungry, Andrew said there is a lad with 5 loaves and 2 small fishes Jesus blessed it. This Small amount of food fed over 5 thousand and gathered 12 baskets of fragments. Jesus manufactures, we as the saved are the distributors, what little things we have, God will Use to help others. Our help comes from Jesus not government. The Gestapo in Nazi, Germany began on April 20,1934 used 13-14 year old boys/students to spy on citizens and report back to Nazi leaders, these students along with others were not in uniform. When the boys ended up in the concentration camps they were fed little Food. They would scream, cry out at night. The officers and Doctors started giving them 1 small loaf to keep them at night. That gave them Hope for the next day. They slept through the night. Trust Jesus, He is God, his help is overflowing and will never end.

Dear brothers and sisters, Eating and drinking Jesus' flesh and blood is to follow His teachings. Mainly love God and mankind eternally, even though he or she is not follower of Jesus. But he or she that obeys His commandments will be saved. Murderers and evildoers are out.

@Eileen,
Forgiveness is a choice that you make by the grace of God through Jesus Christ who chose to forgive you and all men, though no man has ever suffered as He did. Eat His bread and drink His blood and you will have His life in you, to forgive without a struggle.

I think that it is exactly what it is said: … one of you is a devil, Jesus said that Judas was a devil. Being a disciple he was not enough for being clean according to John 17:17.

I believe that chapter 6, is a basic example of life. Just as he fed all those that were there the believers and the non believers. This is in essence what has happened throughout all generations. We are all feed the word of God, some of us take the words to heart and follow him while others are after food (or God’s word) just as there are professional students that love to study there are those that are professional Christians. They love to hear the beautiful words they love the fellowship they believe they are where they need to be. But to them these are just beautiful words when the words are not in agreement with their life styles or their beliefs they move on to someone else that will say what they want to hear. The father’s words are meant to be followed and obeyed. It is not a question of whether the word appeals to us, it’s a question of how do I fulfill the father’s word how do I do that which is right, not to my pleasure, but his pleasure.

Eileen god is using you spiritually and everyone in their lifes are going through the same things as you have. We fight many battles in our life to get close to god. But you will be strengthen in times of trouble. The devil will use everything he can to stop you from serving god and going forward with him. The devil will do a complete search in your life of all the things that bother you and use it to stop you from serving god. God once told me when I was going to quit he said to me I hate a quiter he said the funnies thing to me god said pulled your boot straps up dust yourself off and move on. He was telling me you can keep feeling sorry for yourself or you can get back on the path and keep moving on forward the prize, Jesus.

What I get from this entire chapter right now is that what the Lord did for all of these people when he multiplied what was needed so that all could eat and drink what was needed, he did for all of them , not just the ones that were righteous or deserving of it but everyone. That can be hard to accept at times as a chritstian because you can see that there are people in the world that are given care or what they need by the Lord even when they are rotten at times and or terrible people. Mean hurtful people are also cared for and loved by him that created all of mankind. I am really struggling with forgiveness right now and I know that the Lord would want me to do for others what I want him to do for me and even though other people may not have the same heart as me or what I would like to see them have, they should be forgiven even if they don't seem to deserve it. I am really being taught or shown by the Lord that forgiveness is key to keeping your relationship with him open and active because that has been the very thing that has put a major block in my relationship with him so many times in the past. He is showing me that there are more times than I realize that I have been totally knocked off course with him because of events that take place in my life and then I cannot go any further with or progress in my relationship with him because he is not able to keep guiding us when we are stuck emotionally and mentally on something that someone has done to us. I have been in this place so many times that I can't count how many. It is Satan's way of ruining what the Lord has in store for us and his way of keeping us from our Lord and saviour. It is a constant battle to try and keep a clear pathway so that we can stay connected to him. When we get clogged with a huge amount of sadness or anger or hurt and we can't let go of it because we are bitter about things that other people have done to us we are not able to progress spiritually and then it all comes to a halt. The Lord knows this and that is why he is always telling us in our heart and through scripture not to get stuck by not being able to forgive people. We have to let go of what others in this life do to us so that we can move forward. That is so difficult some times but that is also the only way to be ok with ourselves spiritually and there is no way to get around that, there just isn't. Ive tried and it always ends up the same. Stagnant. Through adversity we are all shown what his plan is and why. Not just those of us that completely love and trust him but even those of us that are following the wrong path. This is how he shows people that he is constantly there and working in all of our lives regardless of who or what believes in him or not. I have just been through a very trying time and there are so many people that I need to forgive in this situation. I know that is going to be the hardest thing or one of the hardest things I have ever had to do without a doubt. I do not feel like forgiving the people that have wronged me. My husband and I did not deserve to be treated the way that we were and should not have had done to us what was done to us. But people are weak and of the flesh and they succumb to what Satan offers them when they feel that they are being offered a quick fix to how they feel also. The people that we dealt with are truly wicked and I don't know how to go about totally forgiving them. I just have to keep praying about it.

Many people are working overtime trying to get ahead, and it is like their pockets have holes in them. The more they make, the more they have to pay. Jesus wants us not to labor for the meat that perishes, but rather for that which gives eternal life. Jesus is that meat, and when we believe that he died on the cross for our sins, and rose for our justification we have eternal life. The Lord's Supper is a spiritual act of eating his flesh, and drinking his blood; we show forth his death, burial, and resurrection until he comes again. So let us not be offended as many were in that day, but as Peter said where shall we go, for thou only has the words of eternal Life. When you do this you will be satisfied.

I attended a baptist church a few weeks ago, and actually performed a "last supper" service. (very rare) The paster handed out a small cracker the size of a fly to everyone and said that the cracker was a "picture" of Jesus (and not actually Jesus), and they ate it. Very unscriptural and not in the bible. Catholics believe Jesus is present in the Eucharist with his very own body. As noted in John 6 verses 51-55. It appears the Catholic communiion service is more biblical and scriptually accurate.

I have heard some Christians say that Judas was an instrument in the hand of God:he was predestined to betray Jesus:so, he would now be in heaven!.
I find that the best answer is the latter part of John 6:70, "one of you is a DEVIL" .I strongly believe that this categorical statement of Our Lord has been culpably overlooked by the commentators to this day in its true meaning. What Jesus meant was that Judas is the personification of Satan himself! Jesus did not say that Judas would be possessed by a demon. Judas was Satan incarnated.
Too many difficulties could be solved by this interpretation. Some are doubtful,as I said earlier, that injustice had been done by God in appointing a man in flesh and blood to betray Our Lord. And that even if Judas willed,he could never abstain from betraying Jesus!. When God incarnated as a man, Satan also took the form of another man, with God's permission, of course. That is why Peter declared that Judas "went back to his place". Judas is also called "the son of perdition"- that is,Satan.
Susan Dalton's comment about verse 15 on 9/29/2011, 8:44pm...
"When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone?" (John 6:15) Earlier, Satan had tempted Jesus with a kingdoms of the world; in His temptation from Satan, Jesus overcame. Here, when Jesus perceived the people would come and by force make Him a King, he did not follow on with them. Satan in his temptations said unto Jesus, "If thou be the Son of God..." Later, when Jesus was on the cross we see these words being spoken to Jesus through man. "If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross." (Matthew 27:40) "Likewise also the chief priests mocking him, with the scribes and elders, said, He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him. He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God." (Matthew 27:41-43) Satan earlier had taken Jesus up into the holy city, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple: "And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, he shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone." (Matthew 4:5-6) Jesus did not jump off the pinnacle of the temple, neither did he come down from off the cross. Satan seeks to interfere and destroy the work of God. He can manifest himself directly; he can work through the fallen angels. He can manifest himself to the mind of man; he can also work through others to speak of perform his will towards another. He can present himself as an angel of light. "And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light." (II Corinthians 11:14) Satan's goal is to steal, kill, and destroy; sometimes he looks like darkness, and sometimes he looks like light.

Jh. 8:3-11 The woman was taken to Jesus for judgement. Jesus said go and sin no more. You mean no one can obey this command, Jesus is so merciful saying this word if no one can obey. For ex. of a father righteous in this world, He will not command his 4 years old son/daughter to bring 5 gallons of water in a can, since he knew it is heavy. Our God also cannot command to his people that we cannot do. To enter into the kingdom of heaven is dual. Faith to the Lord Jesus Christ heartily & faith to his words. I would not deny that faith alone can saved. Our Lord Jesus Christ gave us an example to the one on his side also hanging on the cross whom he has given a promised to enter into the kingdom of heaven. After that promised he was dead, so nothing bad works or evil thoughts he can do again because his body is dead. Not like us, to compare the faith to one of the robbers because we are alive, so after receiving the Lord Jesus Christ by faith, our evil thoughts, evil eyes was there and also of being a liar. To erase this we have to work and practice to follow his words and ask him for help and pray that all our bad works will be clean before his judgement. We know we are all temporary here,so why not we prepared on that day to come. There are so many verses to support that salvation of our Soul is individual/own works and not by faith whereby many believers was deceived. Old test. Exeq. 14:14, Exeq. 14:20, Exeq. 18:28. New test. Acts 2:40, Phillip. 2:12, 1 Tim. 4:16, & James 1:21-22. Our God will judge to our works whether good or bad. Our God will not judge to our faith to him. But God judge us is based in his words. Supporting verses: 2 Cor. 5:10, Ecclesias. 12:14 & John 12:48.

It is the SON OF MAN who we must lift up in order that we know Jesus is he (John-8-)On earth it is only the SON OF MAN who has the authority and power to forgive sins. What stands in the way ? - priests -

Response to Windy's reponse to Frank. December 6, 2010, 6:25pm.
We have to be very careful not to mislead anyone on the very serious subject of hell. There is not anything written in the bible that allows anyone to pass go. We can only enter into eternal life through the saving knowledge and acceptance of Jesus Christ. The bible does not offer lack of hearing as an excuse. Because He is such a loving God, I believe the creator of all things makes a way to reach anyone.

I think Jesus distingvises between things (the creation, as spoken of in Rom. 8,19) and persons.
All things that the Father gives Him will come to Him, and no person, that seaks Him will He reject.
Frank's comment on 9/28/2010, 11:43am...
Windy,
You ask a good question; what about the souls that have not heard about God how does God judge them? There is not doubt that there are those through our history of time have never heard of God. Now as God has said in His Word the Bible He has put the knowledge of God in every mans heart, so man is in excusable in the fact of knowing there is a God. The problem lies in which many do not understand is that we (man) are dead spiritually because of our sin. We are just as a dead corpse that is laid to rest we have no life (spiritually). For that dead corpse to come to life it needs what? Life. The corpse can not gain life on its on it must have life put within it, just as Lazarus lay dead 3 days in the tomb until Jesus came and told him to come forth. Lazarus was dead no life but God put life back in him so he was once again alive. So here in lies the dilemma for man we are alive physically but we are all born dead spiritually, so how does a dead spiritually but alive physically person find God. The teachings of today say that man must accept Jesus Christ as there Savior, that is all well in good but if we are dead spiritually how do we accept a Holy God? We have no spiritual life with in us. The scriptures tell us that “No man has seek after God, there is none righteous no not one” so if no man has seek God how does man find Him? For with out God man is eternally lost for he will wonder in his sin until physical death takes place. God had a plan to save souls but it is Gods plan not ours, salvation is all placed on the ability of God not the ability of man to chose or accept or earn merit through good works, salvation is totally in the working of God and is given to man as God sees fit. John 6:37 ‘all that the Father gives me will come to me, and the ones who comes to me I will by no means cast out.” John 6:44 “No man cometh to me unless the Father who sent me draws him and I will raise him up at the last day.” So who is it that does the work is it man that comes to God? No, it is God that draws or gives to Jesus those that Jesus will raise up in the last day, and “ALL” that are given will come to Jesus and not be cast out. So we start to see that salvation is not universal as taught today and mans choice but it is Gods choice to save who He will. Read Eph. Chapter 1 as God speaks of whom He foreknew and predestinated to salvation it is the elect of God. Who are the elect those God draws to His Son Jesus who will in no wise be cast out. So is salvation our choice? No, its Gods see Rom. Ch. 9 for God has the right to make vessels unto honor and dishonor for God is the creator it is His choice not ours. So in answer to your question, “how does God judge them that have not heard” When salvation is in the hands of God not man, God is not accountable or held responsible because someone has not heard, for God will save all those He has chosen to save. For those that have heard and deny it or those who have never heard and die they are not saved, they will face the judgment of God and they will not enter in to eternal rest in heaven. So what will happen to them, well God is very merciful to man the just and unjust so those that perish with out being born again will simply never exist again. I don’t have time or room here to teach on hell and the wrong teaching there has been on that. If man had a choice in salvation the teaching on hell today would make sense but God is a just God and since man has no part in His salvation why would God condemn a person to hell fire if he had no option or choice to be saved. So God is fair and just and the unsaved will just cease to exist. Hope this helped.
