Indeed all creation was made by him and without him was not anything made that was made this include me and every other human being,it also means everything bad or good, every stuation of life it signifies that we can do nothing without he who created us and that we wake up every day coz of his love

Osman Bangura's comment on 4/22/2015, 12:58pm...

"And they asked him, and said unto him, why baptizes when if you are a Not the Christ b Not Elias c Neither that Prophet. The Jews were waiting for the fulfilment of THREE distinct prophecies: One, the coming of CHRIST, Two, the coming of ELIAS, and Three, the coming of THAT PROPHET. please I want to know who is THAT PROPHET.

PASTORBARNABAS OSIMEH's comment about verse 12 on 4/21/2015, 1:13pm...

A TIME THERE WAS WHEN I AND MY WERE FOLLOWING EACH OTHER. THAT DID NOT MAKE US HUSBAND AND WIFE BUT THE DAY I PAID HER DOWRY SHE HAD THE RIGHT AND BOLDNESS TO ANSWERS MY NAME, AND BE CALLED MY WIFE THAT WAS THE DAY SHE HAS THE POWER TO BE MY WIFE BEFORE MAN AND GOD SO IT IS WHEN YOU RECEIVE JESUS INTO YOUR LIFE

Mike D's comment about verse 1 on 4/18/2015, 6:23am...

This is John ' account about Jesus so it stands to reason this opening verse is about Him. There are two important doctrines introduced here. The first one is the eternality of God and the second is the diety of Jesus Christ. Let 's explore the first. "In the beginning ". Scripture teaches that God had no beginning. Verses like Psa. 41:13, Psa. 90, 1-4 Psa. 93:2, Isa 43:13, and my favorite is speaking of Jesus Heb, 1:8. In the beginning simply means before time and space and all created things. This is a hard thing to wrap your brain around for sure., but just because we can 't understand a thing does not negate that truth. Next phrase we will deal with is "was the Word. Notice the W in Word is capitalized, speaking of a person. We see as we look ahead in John 1:14 that that person is Jesus Christ as He is made flesh. The next phrase "and the Word was with God: Now we are looking at the eternality of the Word. The Word existed before time and creation. The next phrase "the Word was God ". This brings the second of the important doctrines, the diety of Jesus. Our entire Christian belief system hinges on this doctrine. His very purpose here was to be a sacrifice for the sins of mankind and that sacrifice had to be equal to God in holiness. Jesus is the only one who it is said is without sin or blemish.

Victoria Rivera's comment about verse 4 on 4/16/2015, 6:40pm...

There is not a single reference in the Greek original New Testament where Jesus is explicitly called by the Hebrew aka ashon Ha-Kodesh name of Yeshua. However, in the New Testament, Iesous Greek for Jesus is written about 917 times to describe who Jesus truly was. We are told what Jesus ' name is... "And she will bear a Son and you shall call His name I 275 so s Jesus, for it is He who will save His people from their sins. " KJV Matt. 1:21 King of Kings and Lord of Lords! JESUS Jesus is the English translation of the original Greek "Iesous ", 7992 951 963 959 8166 962 , which means " Savior. "Jesus Christ " is properly "Jesus the Christ. " "Jesus " I 275 so s is His human name, as the incarnate, eternal Son of God the Heavenly Father Mt 1:21,25, see also Lk 1:31 the Christ, the divine Messiah. Ho Christos is not a name but more a title. Thus, Jesus Christ , in the Greek text I sous ho Christos, simply means Jesus the Anointed one . Greek NT text has a as ho Christos I sous, the Anointed Jesus . Yas 363 1610 1614 1587 1615 1608 1593 1614 is Jesus in Arabic. Yas 363 u l-Mas 299 7717 I 275 so s, 1610 1614 1587 1615 1608 1593 1615 1575 1604 1605 1587 1610 1581 Jesus Christ Note: as opposed to the incorrect term Isa or 1593 1610 1587 1609 written in the Quran . Yeshua is the aramaic name for the Son. Yeshua. The name Jesus in Hebrew means "Yahweh delivers " or "Yahweh saves. " Others claim "Yahuveh " is more accurate or Moshiach which literally means "Messiah " . YHWH comes from - Yod-Heh-Vav-Heh Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh A 'Yah Ashar A 'Yah - I Will be that I will be I AM that I AM. YHWH explained The practice of substituting YHWH for LORD was begun by the people of Jewish faith did not want to pronounce or mispronounce, the-name of YHWH out of reverence, incorrectly perceiving that lest they violated the commandment that says, "You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain- found in the Jewish second book of the Torah and Hebrew Bible. The people of Jewish faith, began substituting God 's name in Hebrew, Lord " which is now Adonai. Finally, since the early Hebrew text did not contain vowels but only consonants. Therefore, LORD is substituted for YHWH. The four letters YHWH are called the Hebrew tetragrammaton and is sometimes written pronounced as Yahweh. Hebrew is a copy from the Greek original Bible, not the original. LORD The name of the LORD or the name of God refers to God s whole character. It appears a summary statement embodying the entire person of God. Not his " name.

Nnodim Basil's comment about verse 12 on 4/15/2015, 12:19am...

One amazing thing I 've come to discover about God is that He has a blessing attached to every command or instruction, here or hereafter. It takes the Grace of God to really believe on His name...it 's not about human knowledge and philosophy. May God give us that GRACE to wholly Believe and as well Receive HIM...for RECEIVING starts with BELIEVING.

VERY INTERESTING,

Harold's comment about verse 5 on 4/03/2015, 10:07pm...

Darkness could never understood how God, the creator of all that exist could have left his home in glory and became flesh to suffer and die to save mankind, darkness could never understood how mankind transgression, iniquity ,curses, sickness and sin could be destroyed.Darkness could never understood how God 's wrath could be removed from us and that we would become sons of God. It never knew how, when and where the Death and Hell would lose its power and man would receive the salvation from the Lord and be free from their burden of sins. Darkness could never understood God 's love for us. Praise God

Alfred James's comment about verse 1 on 3/31/2015, 9:51pm...

John tells us that what ever we have or enjoying without god it wouldn 't have been possible.

Motdaugrnds's comment on 3/28/2015, 1:33am...

In verse 21, John states he is not Elias nor is he The Prophet so where in Scripture does it say who Elias is and where in Scripture does it say who The Prophet is?

James's comment about verse 1 on 3/23/2015, 12:25pm...

Not a Greek expert but the Holy Spirit helps me understand this verse. In the beginning was means just that the Word already existed. This is proved by verse 14 that says "the Word was made flesh. The only thing you can reasonably conclude the the Word was Jesus pre flesh.

RNM 1-18 JOHN's comment on 3/18/2015, 10:09pm...

JOHN 1-18...I really like reading John, it seems like his written words has a calming or mellowing effect on you, along with the power of the Holy Spirit that seems to make his word clear and understandable, and answers a lot of questions that I see people asking in their comments. Everybody needs to take the time to read the book of John because it would really help clear up a lot of confusion in their beliefs. AMEN!!

Larry L Burnett,sr's comment on 3/18/2015, 2:44pm...

I really love reading the book of the Gospel writer according to Apostle John.i will enjoy more qiuz on the book of John and also on every books of the Bible.John letter was written to the whole world as a Gospel letter.whereas Matthew,Mark and Luke were written to certain scribes as the Jews,Greeks and Gentiles.i personally believe that John the beloved wrote more about the Deity and Humantarity of Jesus Christ the son of God.

Grant's comment about verse 18 on 3/05/2015, 10:52am...

All translations say the same thing considering verse 1:18. "at any time " means "at any time. " No mystery here. Is there anybody out there that can explian that differantly?

Samuel's comment on 2/28/2015, 6:31pm...

Jesus is the son of God no question about it the sacrifice was gods sending of his son to die for us it 's in plain English

Todd young's comment on 2/24/2015, 3:27am...

This tells us who Jesus is and where he came from.

Tony B's comment on 2/23/2015, 11:53am...

It humbles me knowing that Jesus was there at creation, saying "YES " to what He was going to have to endure for us...for me...saying "YES " to creating a worm like me...saying "YES " knowing that He would have to suffer and die so we can all have the ability to accept His free gift of love and eternal life. He 's so incredibly worthy of praise!

THOMAS's comment about verse 1 on 2/19/2015, 8:56pm...

A correction on my previous entry. The statement God makes " this day have I begotten thee " is referring to the resurrection of Jesus. If Jesus is created he cannot propitiate Gods wrath toward sinners. If God is a singular there is no sacrifice to be offered thus no hope.
