Wesley's Notes for John 3:18

3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned - Is acquitted, is justified before God. The name of the only - begotten Son of God - The name of a person is often put for the person himself. But perhaps it is farther intimated in that expression, that the person spoken of is great and magnificent. And therefore it is generally used to express either God the Father or the Son.

People's Bible Notes for John 3:18

Joh 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned. "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved" (Mr 16:16). Faith in Christ is essential to salvation, because it is the power that leads to obedience to him. He that believeth not is condemned already. "Shall be damned" (Mr 16:16). The unbeliever condemns himself. He is lost and refuses to be saved by Christ.

Well, thank God for his precious son he sent down in the form of flesh, left his splendor above for us, because of the fall of Adams race, he so loved us his creation, what more can we want than to know our saviour is in glory pleading for us, father spear them one more day. Saints, we need to have a ready and made up mind to live for christ. God is able to keep us in his grace and truth.

Who could believe a little baby was born to a woman who had never "known" a man? Who could believe a person could walk on water? Who could believe a "man" could forgive sins? Who could believe a "man" would be willing to die for his ungrateful fellows? Who could believe a man died, and then came back to life the third day? Who could believe He ascended to Heaven without a rocket or a balloon? Who could believe He's coming back after two thousand years? I DO... AND GOD BLESS YOU, IF YOU DO! "Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed!"

For those who do not understand "tongues", read 1Cor. chapters 12 and 14. Very clear. Also, the day of Pentecost will explain tongues.
