Discussion for John 17

  • Christine Helms
We have to be one with Jesus shall not be divided. Because we will not stand God is not author of confusion
    Lord make us one
jesus christ i n chapter 17 is revealing his deity 17-3 just before he was
going to be nailed to a wooden cross for lost sinners to be pardoned for
there sin yet people today deny his deity, virgin birth and bodily resurrection
and subsitute mary as a mediatrix like the false roman catholic church and have
a blasphemis mass which crucifies jesus over again which is an abomination to GOD
  • Dormoy
jesus is asking god the father to protect the disciples from evil and from the power of satan

i will say "Amen" to Mitch Withe's comment. He summarized beautifully what we believers mean to each other. And on that note, I offer up prayers to our brethren who are persecuted in other lands because they too believe.
  • Jesus asked his father to watch over his disciples. He knew that they would face problems and temptations. It is the same way with Jesus followers today and we can be confident that Jesus and his father still care for us.
