Discussion for John 14

To Sylvia -"The trinity is real"; Matt. 3:11 - "he shall" refers back to :he that". Jn. 1:14 - The Word was made flesh; John 1:1 - The Word was GOD; The Word was 'with' God - means God IS His Word; the 2 cannot be separated; i.e. you cannot be separated from what you say. Deut. 6:4 (not 2). Thomas was a JEW, as was Jesus - John 20:28. Jesus didn't rebuke him; he knew He was God - in flesh.

    A response to Mekus.
The Trinity is REAL. The Father (GOD) Chose us. The Son (Jesus) Saved us. The Holy Spirit Sealed us. They are ONE in the same.

Pastor Warren Wiersbe Bible Commentary (quote) God exists in three persons who are equal in their attributes and yet individual and distinct in their offices and ministries.
    Matt 3:16-17; John 3:34-35; Acts 2:32-33; 1st Peter 1:1-2; Titus 3:4-6

I love jesus with all my heart and soul every day

The Gospel of John goes further to clarify the mystery of Godliness; that there is no separate supreme being called ''Father'', but as John 14:8-11 explains, Jesus (Son) is the same as God (Father). See also Matt. 1:18-21 which explains that Mary was with Child of the Holy Ghost, in other words the Holy Ghost is the Father of Jesus Christ. In conclusion, the so called doctrine of trinity is false.

Let nothing worry you if you're a child of God. Leave everything to Him and He will take care of all things. God is God and Jesus Christ is Lord of Lords and King of Kings.
