Wesley's Notes for John 12:47

12:47 I judge him not - Not now: for I am not come to judge the world. See, Christ came to save even them that finally perish! Even these are a part of that world, which he lived and died to save.

People's Bible Notes for John 12:47

Joh 12:47,48 I judge him not. He shall sit on the throne of judgment, not to condemn the world he came to save. The words he left in the world will decide the destiny of every man. All shall be "judged by the things written in the books" (Re 20:12).

We each came into this life to learn, grow spiritually, and to fulfill a God given mission. It is good for each of us to ask as Jesus did> "what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour." Some times we want to escape the very thing we need to do because it is so difficult, but if we seek to be as He is we will submit and go forward and do our work.

Even after all the signs and miracles that Jesus performed, many did not put faith in Jesus.

John 3:14-21 teaches of the salvation message for all mankind. John 12:27-33 speaks of Jesus' bearing of all sin judgement for all mankind and all creation. His soul was not troubled in John 3:14-21, but at the point of knowing the horrible burden He alone had to bear for us was about to manifest, He said "My soul is troubled" in John 12:27. Thank you Lord Jesus that You said, "Nevertheless, not My will but Your will be done." All I can say is what a Profound Savior, Who saves us to utmost!!!!!!! To HIM and HIM alone is all praise due!!!!!!! HIS PRECIOUS BLOOD was sufficient to ALMIGHTY GOD our ABBA. to pay the price of sin's judgement bill...!!!!!!!

  • He means "all. " Roman 's 8:21-23 tells that even the creation groans. The creation fell when man fell. Nothing should be added to the Bible. All means absolutely All creation.
