Since John opened his book to declare that Jesus was God he clarified that Death is only a sleep and that he would raise his people from their sleep at the last days.Death is the great enemy of mankind.Jesus gives his people eternal life.Man does not go to an eternal burning hell for his rejection of Christ, yes he is cast into the lake of fire where he dies forever.Death is the punishment of man.

John 11 gave me the clarification I needed to understand that I am a child of God and that Jesus is my savior. He is the resurrection and the life. Believing in Him I live with a strength that is not of this world and sees me through even the most difficult of situations. Dying believing in Him will see me living forever in His perfect peace.
