Discussion for John 11

Jesus compared death to sleep in this chapter showing that he has the power to undo death by resurrecting someone just as easily as someone can be awoken from sleep.

In verse 25 we see how Jehovah God has granted Jesus the power to one day bring back to life those who have died and will be able to have everlasting life on earth. Jesus’ sacrifice and his resurrection mean that death will be no more. And this should give us hope and it will help us endure

This chapter plays to the "1000 years as a day and a day as a 1000 years" Lazarus is us; dead for four 4000 years, entombed by the stone (The Law) When he heard he was sick, he abode 2 days in the same place. Jesus has waited 2000 years

What I am asking is; where else, besides the Gospel of John 1:-; does the Bible state that JESUS is God; I had a discussion with a person yesterday and she wants more proof that the Bible states right out that JESUS is GOD I tried to explain but this person wants to see it written our JESUS is GOD

Man cannot comprehend the resurrection of those dead in Christ nor the translation of those who are alive in Christ but NOTHING is impossible for GOD. Be blessed in Christ and Spirit filled! Amen. Mark 10:27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible. 1 Corinthians 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

The Word teaches there are some who are alive TODAY who will never die-see v26. Be blessed in Christ. Amen. 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? 1 Thessalonians 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
