This chapter has to be one of the most profound in all scriptures, revealing Christ's tender, merciful heart, and God given power over death. I love the Christ, and His atoning sacrifice for all mankind. I know that through Him and the gift of repentance that I have the hope to became even as He is. He has commanded us to "be ye therefore perfect even as I and your Father in Heaven is perfect"

Jesus compared death to sleep in this chapter showing that he has the power to undo death by resurrecting someone just as easily as someone can be awoken from sleep.
