Wesley's Notes for Job 38:7

38:7 Stars - The angels, who may well be called morning - stars, because of their excellent lustre and glory. Sons of God - The angels called the sons of God, because they had their whole being from him, and because they were made partakers of his Divine and glorious image. Shouted - Rejoiced in and blessed God for his works, whereby he intimates, that they neither did advise or any way assist him, nor dislike or censure any of his works, as Job had presumed to do.

Comments for Job 38:7

TRUESEEKER's comment on 2014-05-20 15:49:22:

REFER TO JAMES 1 17 17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. God is the father of the heavenly bodies, the stars, sun and moon. Therefore, this verse is showing how the heavenly bodies, celestial praise God, by shining which in turn is singing and shouting for joy. Just as the flowers bloom, and bird sing praises to our heavenly Father. The angels are not considered sons of God refer to Hebrews 1 5

I believe that we [the sons of God] were there

David's comment on 2013-01-02 11:28:11:

Actually the angels did assist Him in creation.

I normally follow Wesley’s but his comment does to relate to Radio astronomy? Is there anyone else tell me which is stronger Wesley’s or the other?
