Daniel A. E.'s comment about verse 27 on 3/20/2015, 12:10pm...

Be ye Christ like, for Christ go from place to place preaching the good news and doing good

John Alex's comment on 3/18/2015, 10:32am...

Rachel's comment on 3/17/2015, 6:25am...

We, as Christ 's advocates, should be very watchful how we speak. Verse 26 drives this home. Our words are very powerful, so we should use them for the exhorting of Christ and others. The old adage "If you can 't say something nice, don 't say nothing at all, carries a lot of weight.

Motdaugrnds's comment on 3/13/2015, 2:07pm...

I do so appreciate all comments on this site and am so grateful this site is here. Evangelist Chatauna Robinson, Acts 2:38 is one of my favorite parts of Scripture however, it is far from being God 's "plan for us " because it is only the beginning being that it permits the Heavenly Father to bless man with the gift of His Holy Spirit. Opondo, I totally agree with what you said about, "The word of God is life and that life in us cannot grow without having faith and believing on the righteousness of the Word that can transforms to be hearers and doers of the Word. " This, too, is only one of the "initial " steps to our spiritual growth. Kandyse, indeed, the first part of that Matthew 6 6-13 is the way we are to pray however, be careful of the latter part because, when used verbatim, it disavows what our Savior has already done for us via the cross. Marie, you definately need to do more than believe! You must be an "active " child of God. I love this chapter as it reminds me God is ever willing to give us what we need to perfect our "spiritual " selves and this, of course, helps us be strong enough to defeat our "carnal " selves. The major gift I 've asked for in these latter days is for being able to discern the spirits as I have no doubt satan will use our own personal weaknesses to inject his own "thoughts " into whatever he sees us doing. And I am constantly having to check my thoughts via God 's Word in order to stay on the straight and narrow path toward the perfecting of my character...

Lilian's comment on 3/12/2015, 11:27pm...

Jesus reminded us to have faith in him and believe him that He is the Son of the Living God who saves us. God is faithful to his promises that he will never leave us nor forsake us. We are now live because of his forgiveness, love and mercy. Praised God and thanks to Jesus for everything he has done in our lives. Jesus loves you, we must obey his words as he commanded us. He who loves Jesus must keep his commandments until rapture. We must walk with faith and not by sight. Keep still and be patience for all works of God is perfect and the gift will be given to us are all perfect gifts. I love you Jesus and thanks for your blood that you shed for us.

MockingBird's comment about verse 3 on 3/12/2015, 5:49am...

When I have received a word from God in and for a particular situation or thing that I desire : I stand on that word : my faith that God has given me will stand the test and it will proof prove . Patience is a spiritual force. God and I always come out winner. God 's word proves right.

AMEN JAY's comment about verse 3 on 3/12/2015, 5:02am...

Patience is the product of Faith by which we can please GOD through HIS GRACE

Shay's comment about verse 6 on 3/10/2015, 4:04pm...

When praying to Jehovah God we do not want to lack faith in Him. Lack of faith shows that one does not recognize or appreciate God 's fine qualities of generosity and loving kindness.

Chasty's comment on 3/03/2015, 11:49am...

Just serve God according to his holy word and keep the faith and stay humble... Let God lead you daily.

Lilian's comment on 3/01/2015, 12:47am...

Jesus loves all of us no matter what relegion you may have. We are one body in Christ even if we have a lot of members in following Christ. But Jesus consider us a children of God. God 's own people and Shephered. Jesus is a good Shephered and He is willing to lay down his life for us Sheeps who followed Jesus. We must only believed on Jesus that He is the Son of the Living God who is our mediator and a Gateway for us to access to heaven. Jesus is the only way the truth and the life no man comes to the Father except thru Jesus. He who loves Jesus will keep his commandments. Jesus loves us and He is longing to be good to us. Keep your faith on him

Hawley's comment about verse 9 on 2/28/2015, 10:16pm...

Amen, The Lord chooses the humble to bring down the pride of man, the humble because he will not dispise the contrite spirit.

Blessed's comment on 2/28/2015, 9:52am...

the verse and chapter says it plain listen and do what the word say.

MockingBird's comment about verse 5 on 2/28/2015, 7:57am...

God 's word is wisdom that we need : We not always know what God says to do in every situation circumstance of life : God will not condemn us or ridicule us when we ask for His wisdom to know what we should do. God says to come boldly unto the throne of Grace that we may obtain mercy and find Grace to help in time of need. We I must know that what God says for me to do will always be contrary to what my flesh may want : So I must make sure that I with God 's help can and will do what He says to do. My flesh is alway very prideful : I must crucify my flesh and go with what God says. His riches are so much worthy that the so called riches of what my flesh wants and then to stand on what God says even if it means till God takes me home. Having done all to Stand : Stand : Glory to God : Victory !!!! A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Caspar's comment about verse 5 on 2/28/2015, 6:43am...

This is one of the best questions that one can ever ask of the Lord In 1Kings 3:5 the Lord asked Solomon what he wanted. In v.9 of the same chapter Solomon asks for wisdom because he loved his bretheren so much he wanted to rule righteously and to not tyrranize over them. In v.10 it says "and the speech pleased the Lord " May we all ask the Lord to give us the wisdom to "love our neighbour as ourselves "

Jacob's comment on 2/23/2015, 2:55pm...

The book of James is addressed to the twelve tribes of the nation of Israel with a message that has some distinctly Tribulational componentsSince Israel as a nation is broken off Ro 11:17 during the Church Age, which of the twelve tribes an individual belongs today is of little consequence. It certainly mattered in the past and it certainly will again be important in the future Re 7:4 , but it is of no consequence today since national distinctions are eliminated in the Body of Christ. The Apostle Paul writes that there is no difference today between the Jew and non-Jew whosoever calls upon Christ shall be saved. In fact, the Apostle Paul points out that "in Christ Jesus " there is no longer any distinction between Jew and Greek, bond and free, male and female. We are all one in Christ Jesus. See Romans 10:12, Gal 3:28.

Motdaugrnds read James chapter 4 again. Your prayers are not amiss and they are not vain. You must be offering sincere prayers and not lustful prayers because they are being answered. Read Philippines chapter 4 verses 5 and 6 also read Psalms chapter 37 verses 28-40

Shontelle's comment on 2/18/2015, 8:13pm...

Maria's comment on 2/06/2015, 10:43pm...

The Apostles of Jesus are really spiritually filled and when we read what they have written down in the bible from the spirit, we are grieved with fear. Brother James in this chapter verse 25 called the Bible a divine name: THE PERFECT LAW OF LIBERTY. it is indeed the only law to life. brothers and sisters, let us always try to use this law to make us better, day by day.

Stephen's comment about verse 27 on 1/31/2015, 6:06pm...

James 1:27 is the fulfillment of Ephesians 2:8-10 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Reinarudo Watanabe's comment on 1/28/2015, 5:22am...

JAMES CHAPTER 1 1 28 2015 8:15 PM This was written unto the 12 tribes of Israel, and to Jewish Christians. I do believe we can do it in our spiritual life of living. For it is written in EPHESIANS 2:8-9,12-13. TO GOD BE THE GLORY through unto the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour. A-men.
