Discussion for James 4

Opal, the lists in James 4 are God's commands/laws. He is speaking to believers. He knows the heart of man and the wickedness that lies there in. A believer under Grace still has to heed God's word. Don't be deceived by any other doctrine. Matthew 26:41 "Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation; For the spirit is ready, but the flesh is weak." Amen

We must be Born Again in Spirit and not in the flesh. Jesus will help us to humble ourselves if we surrender ourselves to him and accept Jesus as our Savior. there is nothing hard for God to change us and bless us and to give us strenght when we are weak. All battles belongs to Jesus and victorious belongs to us. If God is with us who can be againsts us? Thanked to the blood of Jesus shed for us.

It's easy to love those who already love you, but to love the unlovely that's what Jesus also tried to do and I know it's our job too to try that, a very humble and difficult task, but we know , If we humble ourselves before the Lord, we can do all things Thru Jesus, which strengthens us!
