As I wait and depend on God I feel my strength is becoming stronger and I am able to rise above it all. Eagles soars high above all the earth and has a keen sense of awareness and is focus. To maintain this stature is to maintain my faith in the Lord. I have peace and I have the strength to wait upon the Lord until he returns. Although waiting is sometimes not easy I still believe that God will bring me through.....

When we go to a restaraunt, a waiter comes up and serves us. Possibly, waiting upon the Lord is serving him, and then He shall renew our strength

Ngoni (CE Kimberley)'s comment about verse 31 on 11/07/2014, 7:44am...

Psalm 27 14 Wait on the Lord be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart wait, I say, on the Lord " It pays to anchor our trust on God for He alone is our source of strength when all else around us fails. We are living in perilous times, where we are subjected to persecution, economic hardships and all the negative rudiments of the world, hence serving and trusting God irespective of circumstances ought to be a Christian 's source of strength.Thank you and be strengthened even more!Amen!

All I know is you have to wait on the Lord, your timing is not His timing. In order for you to wait, you got to pray on the matter, no matter what else is going on, waiting on the Lord while He 's working it out in His own time. Thanks

Dusky's comment about verse 31 on 9/08/2014, 4:37am...

Ever been stranded. Think desert. Think dry spot. You are so tired. You are lost. If you could just sit down and rest a minute and think you know that it will come to you. Well that it is God. He is never late no matter what time he shows up because all things are possible with God. Suddenly you are refreshed. Your mind is clear of fog. You began to see clearer. Something inside you is moving you. You feel encouraged, determined even. Know that water is even in the desert. I don 't care where you are or what your situation is God is a able to bring you the water. So you sip slowly trustingly lovingly. Now a still small voice inside you says be of good cheer I was always here. I just needed you to be still and know that I am God my child. The next thing you know you feel like you are being raised up. Carried in a band of strength. You are so happy you are soaring above the clouds. Then suddenly you are running and you don 't feel no ways tired. What is that just ahead of you. No...it can 't be. Now you are walking. Pace yourself that 's right now is not the time to faint when there is something so familiar about this spot. You have been here before. And look, now you know that you are headed right because up ahead you recognize that landmark. Hallelujah! God be praised you are laughing and screaming and suddenly joyfully renewed, strengthened like never before because when you belong to God you are never truly lost because thank you Jesus for you have not lost any that the Father has given you. You are so faithful Lord. Thank you! Wait upon The Lord I say! In Jesus Holy and Precious name. Amen. Wait upon The Lord.

Mojohd's comment about verse 31 on 9/03/2014, 12:23pm...

We wait on the Lord two ways 1 we submit to His timetable, not our own and 2 as His children we serve Him each and every day. Our strength comes from Him.

I find this scripture so empowering. God is able to sustain and strengthen His children in ANY situation . I 'm still waiting for a job after five years unemployment. I 'm a nurse with a back injury. My eyes are on U Jesus.

Meaning that when you go to the secret place and just Love on God, and tell him Lord I surrender my ALL to you, My God let your will be done in your timing not my WIll , but Your WILL . and as you give him undivided attention . No answer the phon e, No Television . trust me the Lord , will refresh you and give you the revelation and Peace that will surpass all understanding , if it is his will , he will give you a dream or vision . amen

Emmanuel Gbafore's comment on 7/10/2014, 2:29am...

I hope some atheist gets to read this convicting chapter for prove that there exist a sovereign of this universe with whom no man or god compare.. The very complexity of the universe and nature in it own way bears witness to this...!

Marie's comment about verse 28 on 7/07/2014, 9:17pm...

I often reflect back to this scripture when my faith gets weak. God is speaking to us asking a question "don 't you know who I am " "haven 't you learned that I am the creator " God is telling us that he doesn 't get weary that he 's a strong leaning tower. When in times of trouble there 's no where else to look but to him! His love and understanding of what we go through is beyond anything we could comprehend ... He Loves us!

Bongie's comment on 7/05/2014, 1:57am...

No matter how much we know, it should humble us to realize that there is no limit to what can be learned about Jehovah, his works, and his ways.

Rev. Autrey's comment about verse 9 on 6/01/2014, 7:09pm...

Isiah 40 9 11 reads "You who bring good news to Zion, go up on a high mountain. You who bring good news to Jerusalem, lift up your voice with a shout, lift it up, do not be afraid, say to the towns of Judah, 'Here is your God! ' See, the Sovereign Lord comes with power, and he rules with a mighty arm. See, his reward is with him, and his recompense accompanies him. He tends his flock like a shepherd He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart, he gently leads those that have young. " The prophet Isaiah applied these words to the preaching of of John the Baptist, as he prepared the way for Jesus to come. Notice he said John would tell the people, "Here is your God. " This is the most important revelation the church can ever have, that Jesus, the one who died for our sins, is none other than God himself. No wonder Paul said of Jesus in 1 Corinthians that Jesus is God 's affirmation. For "all of God 's promises are fulfilled in him. " Then he went on to say "that is why we say 'Amen ' when we give glory to God through Jesus Christ. " Along with John the Baptist, I am anouncing Jesus as God to all who will believe. It was God who promised in the Psalms and Prophets that he would come and save his people. The people were looking for this promise to be fulfilled. Don 't be misled by the term "Christ. " This is only God 's way of saying that he has anointed himself for this important mission. And that it cannot be left to anyone else. That why Peter called Jesus the Christ, he recognized him as the long expected Anointed One, God himself. And for this, Jesus called Peter blessed. Let 's say it this way. There are not two Gods. God and Jesus are the same. The Father is God 's other personality, the way God makes his plans. But God does not speaks to us as the Father, only as Jesus. If you want to know more about this, ask God to help you, and he will! May God bless you!
