Mark's comment about verse 31 on 12/27/2013, 5:18am...

I'm currently separated from my wife. The church, Christian friends and myself are praying for restoration in my marriage. I have been reading my Bible more and studying Christian marriage books. I want my wife home right now, I in my flesh have no patience! This verse has reminded me that it's not my timing but God's. I know that God has work to do on me and my wife so that our marriage will be strong. Please pray for us.

Anesu's comment about verse 31 on 12/18/2013, 5:27am...

This is indeed all we need when everything in the world is going at an alarming space, everything at times gets to be incomprehensible ,He is God who is faithful and honorable to renew our strength ,to make us walk and faint not,he is the standard of our victory. To lead us by ways we know not and give us inner strength to soldier on.

i believe and trust almighty God,according the scriptures

Andrew's comment on 11/14/2013, 7:38pm...

Except for verse 3, speaking of Christ 1st coming, the rest seems to talk of Christ's Millenial Reign here.

Nkateko's comment about verse 31 on 11/13/2013, 6:17am...

But they that wait"...not upon any one else BUT the Lord, their strength shall be renewed...My God! this is a sure case no debate weariness is not their potion only those who wait upon the LORD...BLESSED..

Greg's comment about verse 31 on 11/07/2013, 8:11pm...

I like the Hebrew translation of "wait." We bind ourselves up; we wrap and twist ourselves into - and become as one, just as the vine does with the Branch - the direction of expectant attitude that He does all things well. The stressing of our minds in the direction of strength and deliverance; of hope and of constant help assures me that in his time, he will turn and hear my cry!

BSP's comment on 10/30/2013, 8:36pm...

This verse shows that the Bible is scientifically accurate. The Bible clearly showed the earth is spherical when it talked about the "circle of the earth." If man would take the time to read God's word, this would have saved them from their false theory that the earth is flat and not round.

Dan Z's comment about verse 2 on 10/26/2013, 4:55pm...

Jerusalem was thrown into the penalty box for her sins twice, two times (double). The first time was the first destruction of the temple and the city by the Babylonians (586 BCE). The Jews, the rightful hosts, were taken captive for 70 years and Jerusalem allowed to lie desolate. They returned during the rule of Cyrus the Persian.

The 2nd time was the 2nd destruction of the city and the temple by the Romans in 70 CE. The holy place was "trampled under foot" by the Gentiles (Daniel 8:13, Luke 21:24) until 1967, when the Jewish people regained control of the old city and temple mount. This was exactly 2300 years after the fulfillment of the first event (Battle of Granicus) in Daniel's vision in Daniel 8 (vs. 6 and 7).

Nisha313's comment on 10/26/2013, 10:23am...

This chapter is a reminder that God is the only one in control...I also have to remind myself this when fear, and wearyness try to rise up against me,in different situations. It's just best to Trust in the Lord 100%, You can never fail with him, and He will never fail to amaze you... Be Blessed

Vitto Sumi's comment about verse 31 on 10/23/2013, 12:25am...

It is a great assurance that God has given to His peoples, whoever believes in Him n stand strong in the midst of every circumstances. I'm very much inspired.

Phil's comment on 10/20/2013, 12:23pm...

all they had to do was read that the earth was roundbut yet they wanted to do it scientifically rather than just depend on God

Norma's comment about verse 31 on 9/25/2013, 4:02pm...

Thank God He is faithful. In waiting we learn so many things about God. He turns many things around that the enemy planned for evil. what an amazing God we serve.

Sarah A's comment on 9/25/2013, 7:34am...

Most sustaining verse I've found. It's so solid that it immediately draws our attention to God's love and provision for his children. When you feel discouraged, this is the verse you need to repeat to yourself - store it in your heart so it is readily available when struggles arise. We were not promised smooth sailing through this life, in fact quite the opposite...we were told that in this life we will face trials & tribulation..."But, they that wait on the LORD..." Amen.

Kathy king's comment about verse 1 on 9/19/2013, 1:31am...

Deborah Clingan's comment about verse 31 on 8/16/2013, 11:20am...

The eagle has times of molting when it has to be grow new wings and can't fly. We have to trust God through hard times. He will grow us and as the eagle we WILL soar. These are the times we draw what we need from The Lord so we can run with purpose and direction. Soaring on his wings of love. With his strength & might. We are dependent on him and he restores us by his word and being in His presence. Nothing compares to the hope we have in Jesus! The battle has been won. Put your hope in him & you will not be disappointed!
