Children of God are representatives of God here on earth and God expects us to exhibit his character:He is mercifull,He is good,He fights for the oppressed,He deliver the captives etc.As we do these he will answer our prayers when ever we call on him.

Thank God for His grace and Holy Spirit who interpret the Bible beyond human wisdom and if you understand the chapter 58 of that Isaiah you will see that why you fast is not for yourself alone but for the benefit of other less privilege ones.Clothe the naked ones, feed the hungry ones, set the captives free and then whatever you prayed for during your fasting, the answers are sure and you have also capture the mind of God.May the peace of the Lord be with you all.
